shiny unknown I. not that rare ik, but its still a shiny. i dont think legendary pokemon are really that rare in the game because its fated that you will encounter it. so thats why i consider a shiny more rare

The rarest Pokémon I caught was a shiny aron which was easy to catch but it was totally unexpected that i would run into one in the game, I was just trying to get through the cave and then it appeared and luckily I had some pokeballs handy and I only had to use 2 to catch it. I also caught a shiny haunter before and those are the only 2 shiny Pokémon I have ever caught before but they are pretty rare and I wasn't expecting to run into them and catch them, but it was a good find though!

The rarest Pokémon that I have ever caught has to be ...... Mewtwo? In Fire Red. It took a while trying to get it with the Elite Four and stuff, but I eventually got him! After I got them, there was no use for him because I stopped playing the game.

Dean2k13 : That's exactly mine too. Mewtwo in Fire Red. It took 17 tries of constant saving and restarting. Cerulean Cave was a bugger to get through, but I did it with only one death... up until Mewtwo. I didn't stop, I'm still playing. But I only caught him today.

Is there a some secret way to counter those shiny Pokémon's? I have played these games from the time when red and blue came to sell, and never seen any of those shiny Pokémon's.. Or I just have really bad luck...

It would have to be a shiny Dragonite with the Pokemon virus. It had epic moves right when I got it at level 56. I was so happy when I caught it since I love dragon and fire type Pokemon

I actually caught a shiny Magikarp one time. it was blue. I traded it for a shiny Garydose and a shiny Pikachu. XD Great trade, in my opinion. Magikarp are stupid and pointless.
