I like the Sinnoh Pokémon series the best so far

Kanto is the best it's before they added contests to the series I think Johto as well but not entirely sure I just enjoy the gym battle parts of the anime and find them interesting unlike the random things they find traveling.

I love the hoenn series

My favorite Pokémon series so far will always be the original Pokémon, because it had the best story line and great dialog and with the classic animation style it looked alot more real than the HD animation style they use for the show now. Also I liked the first Pokémon series the best because there was alot of  heart felt moments in it where the viewer felt like they were right there next to Ash.

Yeah, to me, nothing beats the original Pokémon series, they were just awesome and realistic, there were a lot of moments that you felt like you were in there with him throughout everything. I also like the Johto and sinnoh as well, but to me, nothing beats the Kanto, it is just the best, the first and the most original of all of them, I agree, some of the new ones don't give me the same feeling as Kanto, the setup is just different.

My favorite would have to be the original Pokémon series in the Kanto region. I was the only one that has really ever entertained me, and it was the beginning of Pokémon.

I loved the Hoenn region Mainly because they had some of the best starters ever!! They also Had salamence which is my favorite dragon type Pokemon in the entire national dex.

I honestly have a super hard time picking but it's a toss up between, diamond and pearl and unova but in the end unova wins, I only liked diamond and pearl for the contests but I like unova for the pokemon and the story is great.

Outta all, I loved the season which took place in Hoenn. The starters were all awesome and introducing Pokemon Contests was interesting and fun to watch. 
Now, I'm wondering if Pokemon XY will be good or not?

I actually like the first pokemon series i the kanto region. Really i need to catch on the first series. I barely seen any of the episodes.

The first/original series of Pokemon anime has a special place in my heart. It's not like I'm having denial on a few protagonist changes, but the old saying goes you can't beat the original.

I'd have to go with the Kanto region since nothing beats the original. However, compared to other regions, Ash had it easy when it came to acquiring Gym badges and because of that, this region needs a do-over(see my reasoning below).

Boulderbadge: Quit after getting a lucky break with the sprinkler system(still got the badge). Btw in the games, Pikachu wouldn't stand a chance here. I mean a Thundershock(albeit supercharged) beat Geodude?

Cascadebadge: Only got it after saving the water Pokémon from Team Rocket. He didn't even beat Misty.

Thunderbadge: Raichu out of juice after one Thunderbolt? Yeah... like that is a plausible outcome in a Gym match. Plus what move did Pikachu use to finish Raichu off? Don't know of any move called electric tail-whip.

Marshbadge: He simply made Sabrina laugh... seriously a badge for THAT?

Soulbadge: More Team Rocket interference, although Ash does beat Koga's Golbat in the 2nd fight.

Rainbowbadge: Cliché at this point but yet more Team Rocket interference. They cause a fire and after saving Gloom, gets the badge. Again, doesn't BEAT the Gym Leader.

Volcanobadge: Same deal as with the Soulbadge, Team Rocket interference but Ash wins in the 2nd fight after Charizard beats Magmar.

Earth Badge: Its Team Rocket... need I say more?
