I found a shiny growlithe in Pokemon fire-red. I had no Pokeballs. The only reason i am peacefully writing this is because im in shock. Has this happend to anyone else?

Yes this has happened to me. It was right at the beginning of the game. It was a shinny piggy.

That's a shame. And no this has not happened to me, nor do I want it to happen. From this thread, I will be sure to have some sort of Pokeball in my bag at all times. This has happened to me a couple of times and I really hate it since there is a really low chance of finding a shiny what was it again 1/2132 or something like that that right there is really painful to experience.

Yes, I once found a shiny larvitar in a cave and I had no pokeballs to catch it with either. I was so upset and I was in shock thinking that I could've had a shiny tyranitar with good training, I was pretty upset because it was one of the first shiny Pokémon I had seen in a hacked game and I wanted to catch it and I had no pokeballs left. Another time I was in Pokémon red and I saw a shiny rattata and I had no pokeballs there either, I was disappointed but then I got over it because I honestly didn't really like rattata and probably wouldn't even use it. But I was very upset about the larvitar because it is one of my favorite Pokémon and I use it all the time in my team. So yes this has happened to me unfortunately.
