I tend to buy acupuncture books and acupressure books in L.A.'s "China Town".
Every now and again I get a pair of Nunchucks or a good sharp object (A.K.A. sword.)
But mostly I enjoy the food in just the right places. (Hint: If you do not see any asian people eating in an asian dinning spot? Don't eat there.)
There are the massage joints that I'm fond of but I really have to recommend the food and the squares entertainment. Jugglers, Tumblers, and Plays. (All good fun.)
The bootleg stuff is nice too but I have never purchased cards in china town.
I have had "Pokemon" cards before (Don't laugh. We made drinking games with it.) But never seen Fake Pokemon cards. The electronic games might be fake in there but the cards are so old now that I doubt that they are fake.
Still a good read. What city is your "china town" in?
