Have you ever had to carry or wear something that will attract a lot of attention as you walked through your neighbourhood?

I'll share my story. One time my friend and I had to carry one of those big tube TV through our neighbourhood. We had so many people look as us weird as if we were stealing it. We even had someone say something to us in a rude way. I couldn't quite make out what they said but I assume it was someone about stealing. It was quite funny though. I guess it also didn't help that we were teenagers.

Have you ever had to do something like this? Share your story.

Oh yes I have some stories but I will only share one. Me and one of my friends thought it would be funny to put on a dress and walk around his street. Well I had on a skimpy dress, leather jacket, boots and a Mohawk. All I have to say is the people were not amused. We had some laughs though.

The only thing I carried through my neighborhood and got odd looks was my flat tire with a rim still attached.
I had to carry it to Wal-mart from my house on foot once. (Flat Spare. Friggin used Car Dealers.)
The distance was about 2 and 1/2 Football fields lengths. (Not far.)

No one thought I was stealing anything but, Californians can be so odd they will call a "cab" just to go next door.

Not much else to say about odd items I have had to carry up and down the block.

The only time people though I was trying to steal something in public was when I double checked my Car Door to make certain the thing was Locked. (Did not have any noise making keychain device at the time.)

In case you are wondering how weird this state is? You will find Homeless People Talking on Cell Phones Holding "Will Work For Food" signs at the Freeway Exit Corners.

Good Luck.
I'm done. Stick a fork in me.
Peace.

Well I did carry something heavy in my neighborhood but it was when we were moving out though so yeah the distance wasn't that impressive and nobody seemed to notice at all.

I have, but I don't have much of this expensive stuff so I don't have much luck.
I knew it wouldn't work the second I stepped out of my house, but I still had a bit of hope.

Once when my parents put the garbage cans outside for the garbage men to take it, they took it and they left it to a very far place and then I had to go find it and I looked like a garbage man when I returned it home. I felt awkward.
