The new Zelda game won't have Skyward Sword graphics, not for the Wii U at least. They released a tech demo of the Wii U featuring a bit of it back even before it was released I think, don't know why you haven't used that for reference...

Also, the 3DS Zelda is, quite literally, A Link o the Past 2.

Just wait till E3, they'll show off a TON of stuff on it then, I'm sure.

The earliest release is holiday 2014 but I bet it won't be available until holiday 2015.

I'd like to point out that I discovered the name of it.It is gonna be called a "Link" between worlds which does sound very similar to a "link" to the past.

Here is some second runner-up stuff that we redid on the cheap.
After the gameboy stuff I literally said forget this mess.
After "O.T."? After "Majora's Mask"? When they had a perfectly good working "Game Cube"???

I love the Zelda Games but that mess has got to stop.
Why bother with showing a demo if we never get the real thing?

I will be impressed if Nintendo can get even a fraction of the Old Zelda fans to invest in the next system when they decide to do another game.
But that is the name of the "Zelda franchise" game.
Tease em till they go to get something better. An odd practice but it works. Each new generation keeps interest. But once a person turns into a teen??? (Or a 20 year old. For the hard core fans.) They tend to bail on the series. (Watching the wallet.)
Thankfully for those of us that can not grow up?
They have the internet.
They have Youtube videos and....
Well that explains why Nintendo went and decided to place restrictions (not much but still.) on Nintendo videos on youtube and elsewhere. (How much you want to wager that any new game footage gets yanked off the net as soon as it goes up or gets 1000 "hits"?)
Kinda odd since Hollywood and the Music industry has tried and failed at this.
Plus they had way more money and power to throw at the subject.
(Live and Learn. Will the attempts of the rich to assert power ever cease to amaze? I think not.)
Hope the next "Zelda" game does not get too regulated.
There are so many kids out there that post up videos like its a painting that goes on the refrigerator. I would hate to console some six year old over a business manuver.

The most I have heard about this that it was going to be on the 3DS and not on the WiiU.  I saw a video for the game on IGN.  They are going to try and figure out how to put DLC into a Zelda game.  The DLC part hasn't been confirmed yet though.  Nintendo is still considering it.

The one for the Wii U was actually going to lean towards Twilight Princess not Skyward Sword but the next Zelda game is going to be for the 3DS not the Wii U the one for the Wii U wasn't officially announced just a E3 demo.

The Wii U definitely has the capability to create the best and most addicting Zelda game ever. I think that it will be a great game, and if they transfer it over to the 3DS, which I have, I will be very happy. From the sounds of it, it is going to be a great game.

If you get a Wii U, I would recommend you get Twilight princess for 20$.
It's great for older fans. Only if you want of course.
