They did, Doc Rivers is now the new Head Coach of the LA Clippers. I don't really care, they will still be the #3 team in the West.

Another big trade...

Boston Celtics have traded Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Jason Terry to the Brooklyn Nets for 3 1st round picks in 2014, 2016, 2018; Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, Tornike Shengelia, Reggie Evans, and a sign-and-trade Keith Bogans.

The Boston Celtics are starting over. Being a Celtics fan, I hate that everything went the way they did, but nothing can be done about it now. I'll support them through their rebuilding, but if Rondo leaves, the Celtics WILL NOT make the playoffs. I don't know if he wants to be the center of a rebuilding project.

To me, this was one of the wierdest and most surprising drafts I have ever seen. I'm surprised that Bennett was drafted first, Noel fell to sixth, etc. This draft class wasn't that good, next years will probably (and hopefully) be better *coughAndrewWigginscough*

What do you think of this draft?

Nobody has mentioned that Mike Dunleavy has signed with the Bulls.  This is a good signing that gives us a three point shooter, and improves our already great team.
David West is back with Indiana, and Tiago Splitter will return to the Spurs.  I'm more of a fan of West, but I'm all for the Heat losing.

The Clippers Sign with CP3. I saw that coming.
Where do you think that Howard will end up?

Howard was going to the Rockets, but then he decided against it.  Then, he decided against deciding against it, and will be going to the Rockets again.
20000 Viz says Howard changes his mind before the July 10th moratorium is lifted.

I really think this is the Pacers year to finally beat the Heat and make it to the NBA playoffs. They should have made it this year and have finally added the pieces they needed to. If Granger comes back healthy they have to be in the title discussion, even though they probably wont be.

mlb789 : If you want to make that bet, I will. I think he will sign with the rockets and become a duo with James Harden.

magimangr : I think you mean the Findls. Yeah, there are quite a few teams in the easy now that can defeat the Heat, mainly the Knicks, Pacers, Nets, and Bulls. As long as the Heat lose, I'll be satisfied.

PixelBrick : OKC didn't face Miami Heat in the Finals, if that's what you are referring to.

Monta Eliis to the Mavericks after Devin Harris fails a physical.
That's good for the Mavericks, but they need a starting Center fast, and Samuel Dalembert is not a quality starting Center.  They should have attempted to resign Kaman, and now I think they need to trade for a center in order to get a quality one.
D12 stayed with his word and went with the Rockets.  I hope that the Rockets can win the West only when TD and Manu retire.
The Nets trade with Boston was finalized, making them one of the teams to reckon with in the East.  Here's to hoping they can down the Heat if the Bulls can't.

Dwight needs to lift his game and win a Championship for the Rockets if he is to be considered one of the great big men of all time.
Being a Nuggets fan, I wish Iggy didn't leave Denver. It looks like It'll be a tough season for the Nuggets but I still think they'll just reach the playoffs.

I don't know why the Knicks added Barganani to their roster. I mean, How is he going to fit into a rotation that includes Carmelo, Stoudamire and Chandler? Seems like a pointless move by the Knicks but hey, whatever.

Detroit will still probably miss the playoffs despite adding Josh Smith, sort of seemed to be a foolish move to add him anyway.

The Nets have a stacked roster for 2014, who thinks they'll be title contenders? I believe they'll do better than this season with the addition of KG, Paul Peirce, Jason Terry and of course Kirelenko.

Luckily, Jeff Teague did not even have to go to the Bucks! Yay! Go Hawks!

Hawks will have a bunch of money for next year and I am so excited to maybe get a very good star player!

The Thunder are going to be without Russell Westbrook for a while. He recently had a second surgery on his knee. Obviously, they no longer have Harden and now they don't have Kevin Martin, either. He signed with the Timberwolves this offseason. Anyone else think they will struggle a bit, at least until they get Westbrook back?

The season is less than a month away. From the offseason actions and training, what are your predictions for the season? Which team will break out, which team will fall behind, which team will be a threat, which team will surprise us?

You heard it here first: The Bulls will be the 1 seed in the East and will beat the Heat in the Conference Finals.

The Spurs will beat the Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.

As for a surprise team....the Lakers. Most people think they will miss the playoffs this year, I don't think so.

I'll go out on a limb and make a really bold prediction: The Cleveland Cavaliers make the playoffs this season.
