I would say a difficult one to catch for me was Entie in Pokémon coliseum, I got the things health down a bit too much for my liking and I started chucking Balls at it hoping that it would not use shadow rush and knock itself out took about ten minutes and lots of luck to get the damn thing.

I never had a problem catching a pokemon...until yesterday...I remember it like it was yesterday...pokeMon soul silver. I had 99 poke balls. It was mew two. Took me 10 poke balls!! (not a lot...but the most I ever used XD)

Yeah, Suicune surprisingly wasn't all that difficult for me, on Pokémon Coloseum I Caught him using 1 Net ball which shocked me. I'll eventually have that episode of my LP uploaded along with the other 4-5 snags I got that episode.

For me it was a Regirock which was nearly almost impossible to catch and I used 4 ultra balls, and 3 great balls and I finally had to use  the premier ball oddly enough because I had nothing left to use. It was so annoying because with the Pokémon I had every move was to strong for it that it made it faint in 1 hit and hard to use a ball on it. So I put it to sleep and used leaf blade on it with my sceptile and then I used the premier ball since I had used everything else, and then I finally caught it. None of the other regis where this annoying and difficult to catch because my moves left room for me to actually throw a pokeball at them.

For me it was Rayquaza. I mean I know a lot of people are going to say a legendary Pokémon, but you have to hear the story. 

So there I am, battling Rayquaza with my Blaziken when I finally get it to a level of damaged I'm satisfied with. So I start lobbing Ultra Balls at it of which I had about 15... They all broke. So I try my 20 Great Balls. No Luck. So I tried every ball I had. Which included 70 Pokéballs, 3 Fast Balls, 4 Fast Balls, and just when I was about to give up, I used my last Pokéball, it was a Repeat Ball. Captured. So I am the trainer with a Rayquaza in a Repeat Ball.

The hardest pokemon to catch was a caterpie , nope just kidding chansey was very hard to catch especially when your in the safari zone. It actually took me 3 days to catch. A very long time for me.

Ughhh.

It's stressing to even think about it!

It took me months to find the Pokémon Entei, Suicine and Raikou in Pokemon Gold. Not to mention it took me over 150 Ultra balls total to catch all three of them dogs. But, I caught them! It cheered me up, and I could now train them up to level 100.

It was the Reggie's for me on my Emerald. Regierock was shiny so that was a bonus, but I must have dropped over $450,000 dollars on them with a total of about 125 Ultra Balls, 95 Timer Balls, and like 200 regular Poke balls. Was very difficult but extremely worth it

I almost forgot about Latios and Latias WITHOUT the Master Ball. Before I knew they would appear after defeating the Champ, I would always use my Master Ball to catch either Groudon, Kyogre, or Rayquaza. Then there's the TV report, and I'm like SWEET! A NEW POKEMON!! So I run out, try looking for it, No luck. Then when I'm just randomly exploring things, Latios or Latias just randomly appears and I'm just like :o!!!!!! Then I send a small attack at him to weaken him/her and they RUN AWAY and I'm just like :O!!!!!!!! It was extremely hard catching those 2. I even tried using Trapinch with his Arena Trap, but they STILL got away which infuriated me a bit. Wasn't till I taught my Gyrados "Mean Look" that I could catch them without them running away...again
