The last meal thread made me think. Never mind the last supper. If you were on death row, how would you like to go?

Me? There is no capital punishment in my country but I think it is obvious.

Hanged.

If I get a decent drop that is. How about you?

I would choose guillotine. It's quick and painless.

I'd be hung, and if something went wrong what do I have to lose?

certainly not lethal injection.
Id go for either hanging or shot to the head.

I'd go down by a gun. PEW PEW. Chest or Head is fine for me.

Probably be poisoned. It may be slow, but the pain would be mostly your insides instead of nerving.

Or being hanged is another option.

Like a boss, lol!  Most likely bullet to the head.

I would probably go with a guillotine if I had to, it is pretty scary, but at least it kills you quickly.

I think I would chose to take a bullet to the head. Its quick and effective, so I would be dead before I could feel anything.

I would probably go with just getting shot in the head with a gun. It is fast and painless in my opinion. 

Being shot at in the head or the chest. Something quick and painless.

I would like to be killed by a knife through the brain.

A famous story relating to this topic goes something like this:

A jester that worked for a king offended the king, and the king sentenced him to die.  However, he had been a good jester, so he was allowed to choose his method of death.  He subsequently chose to die of old age.

I think that if someone told me I had to choose a way to die, I would probably refute them.  I don't plan on doing anything worthy of execution, ever.  I definitely wouldn't like to be executed, but if anything came to that, I would take it like a man.

I think I'd like to die by a firing squad, that would hurt like no other... but it'd be epic, that's for sure.

I would be shot by a firing squad. As long as they didn't all aim for my stomach i'd have a quick and painless death.

Man, people don't seem to consider the things that can go wrong with a lot of their choices. Being hung is horrible. The thing you don't see in movies that was actually pretty common was your neck not breaking from the drop. When that happened, they had to just strangle to death. Also, neck breaks weren't always fatal. So again, they would have to strangle to death.

Bullet to the head can easily go wrong. People have survived being shot in the head. So you would have to bleed out. Eesh.

Firing squad was very often not exactly quick and painless. Only if the first shot was instantly fatal. Though one said they knew that and preferred it for the epicness. Power to him

I wonder why so many don't consider the injection. One person said they definitely wouldn't want that. If you want painless, that is the way to do it. You are asleep when the lethal part is done to you. You don't feel a thing, and nothing could be as quick as something that happens to you when you are unconscious. I would take that.

Apparently, two people don't know how he guillotine works.  You actually don't die right away.  The brain can survive for a little amount of time without blood flowing to it, so you would know your head was chopped off, and you would also probably notice that you are rolling .
