I'm very pleased with all the participation we had in this competition, we had 4,282 screenshots submitted which means well over 1000 games that were missing screenshots now have screenshots! Thanks to Singelli and rcarter2 for spending the time yesterday to tally up the results, it was a big job and they saved me a lot of time.

Well, at least I was able to be part of contributing to the site : 3 Congrats to the winners!

I won fifth? Really? I didn't even spend that much time participating.  

AgnarLotbrok :  Agnar, I personally tallied yours.  I don't think you quite understood the rules, because you DID have tons.... and TONS of shots.  It's just that many of your shots didn't count.... You took shots with games that had primary shots, or already had shots taken by other players, for example.  That probably eliminated about half of your submissions.  The same was true for MarioMcFly.  I'm dreadfully sorry about the misunderstanding, and I swear to you that I would never lie about the results.  I hope that you will trust me... I would never deprive someone of something they earned.  And I was actually rooting for you.  I was super impressed with how many shots you took, being a newbie and all.

I actually counted my results AS I made them, then posted on the last day, how many I had, so that others could try and beat me.  I promised not to submit any shots that day and leave my number alone, and I kept my promise.  I actually took many more shots than what I submitted, but I didn't know some of them would count.  You see, many MAME games don't have 'levels' per se, and so I took the 'only one shot per level' statement very literally.  It wasn't until I was scoring that I realized games like those are a semi-exception.  Also, I didn't know test cartridges count, etc etc.  If you look at the CP I earned for screenshots, I actually took more than 2,000 (I don't remember the number).

I kinda of have no life, I guess.  

I do definitely applaud the work you did though.  The number of shots you took was absolutely astonishing, and I'm thankful we have members like you contributing so much to the site.  Thank you very much.... and...

AgnarLotbrok : Also, to avoid any speculation like that, Singelli counted my results and I counted hers. That way neither of us counted our own just to further assure people the scores would be legit. Neither of us knew what our own scores were until the very end when they were reported to David.

AgnarLotbrok : Well, you did your best job. I think you could register earlier to be the 1st or 2nd. That was a lot of job and, at least, you were the 4th. That's not so bad, you could receive more points with a lot of more points.

BTW, Davideo7, though contest ended, can I still ask to staff for submit my other screenshots? I know they are useless and they don't serve now, at least I would like to do this because I wasn't able to post them before in the contest thread.

Well,I'm 9... I could do more than that,but I was soooo busy! Maybe on the Video Hunter Ill do much better!

Well,if I wasn't so busy,I'm gonna be 3rd or something. Singelli and rcarter2 did MANY Screenshots. I didn't had a chance against them. Keep the great work guys!

I also thought you were gonna to be the 1st but I just didn't count all the screenshots.

My score was based off of only 3 days of effort. I would have had my shot of winning first place, but I thought it just took too much of my time, so I just stopped there.
