Victor-E : Thanks. I somewhat feel bad for the 1 second thing though. Personally, I would rather be beaten by a lot than 1 second. Something like that could have been not even a measurement of skill, but who pushed the snapshot button faster.

Congrats rcarter2 on your first speedrun competition win. Pretty crazy seeing that 1 second differential on the last day of the competition. Speaking of time to take the screenshot, I was wondering if a clumsy start with the video recording would cost time as well. The game seems to freeze as you choose the file name but I'm not sure.

That is the exact reason why I name my speed run videos with only a single letter. That way, it is just a matter of quickly typing one letter, hitting Enter, and continuing my game. No reason in wasting seconds in typing a name as long as you can find it when you are done.

jerryaberry : It does cost you. I've noticed for myself that if I save a video to my desktop, my game freezes up briefly so now I try and save my videos to a folder. Also doing a 1 letter file name like rcarter2 mentioned can help.
