Sorry that I didn't upload this for a while.

It's true, my wii finally died after playing brawl for 5 months straight. My gamecube discs work, but my wii discs all don't work or boot past the intro. (Brawl) I had done a lot in brawl:

• 1700+ hours power on time
• Nearly 10000 matches played total
• 697/700 stickers, so close.
• ~405/544 trophies
• 2 challenge boxes left undiscovered (no hint found)
• Many challenges uncompleted (boss battles is hell.)
• Nearly 79500 feet in HRC THS.
• 8622.1 feet HRC Co-op offline by my own self, controlling two ganondorfs.
• All Virtual Boy and Nintendo 64 titles revealed in Chronicle.
• Nearly 1000 replays saved.
• Almost 400 snapshots.
• Nearly 50 currently saved stages.
• Under 11 minute THS for Target Smash level 1, under 10 seconds with Fox.

There must have been some more, but since my wii no longer reads wii discs because of my disc motor, I can't really get much more info of my brawl. I am really sad.

For the two people I have added as friends on brawl:

Matthew2321 :
kingvictory : Please delete my old friend code. I am using my Wii U now to play brawl because my two other wiis no matter what I do, they don't read my brawl disc, so I had to play the Wii U, from the start. I got every character again. Add my new brawl friend code: 4986-5480-3348. Delete my old code first before you add the new one.

How did this happen? Well, on the 15th of April, my wii was making really awkward clicks every half second I was playing the game after doing 100-man Brawl with kingvictory several times online, and before I got off of wifi when I was tired of doing it, I heard bad clicking noises. I went to the wii menu and checked my disc to see if it was having problems. It didn't have a single scratch, but when I put the game back in the wii, it would try to read the disc in a kind of painful way, clicking excessively for a few seconds and then stopping. When I did get it to work the last two days of my wiis life, I tried to hurry and get the 700 stickers achievement. I was noticing some disc music problems. The music would stop at certain parts of a stage, but the game would always spin. It was also loading stages WAY longer than it used to. I ended up thinking this was the sign of my wii's eventual death. The day after tommorrow at the time, was the last day it ever played. I was playing basic brawl during the afternoon, I was paired with a group. The brawling status when up on everyone, but no match started for a minute, no matter what I did to wait. So I played around trying to wait for a match to load, and then the game froze without any loud "beeeeeep" noise the wii normally does, and no sound. The game disc also stopped spinning at the same time, but surprisingly, no disc errors came up. I had to turn off the wii because it froze. Then, everytime I tried to get brawl working, it never EVER loaded the intro cutscenes ever again. It kept giving me the disc error has occured message after waiting 15 seconds for the intro (which never came) to come up. EVERY time. I was merely thinking that game freeze was the last signal that the wii finally died trying to read wii discs. Sad but true story. I only played 5 months of brawl and I never had a console die on me once.

R.I.P Wii, 2010 (unknown month of purchase) - April, 17, 2013 You'll never leave my heart from playing a game I love. My main wii, and it is no longer usuable for wii discs.

If it's any consolation, at least your Wii didn't die in a fire at someone else's house, like mine did.

KiddoCabbuses : I know how you feel when a console dies too early. I have been playing games for about 7 and a half years since December 25, 2005, and I never had a console entirely die like that. I have a 2005 DS that I still have that won't read any DS games, but reads GBA. I also have another blue DS that the screen at the top glitched out while playing Guitar Hero: On Tour. Switched to a DS Lite I got in 2010 and no problems have happened with my consoles until now. It's actually sad that when it would normally happen WAY later, it happens in less than 8 years of gaming. Atleast I got a Wii U to play all my other games that I barely play anymore.

That really stinks. Haven't had a console die like that, butI've lost game data. I can only imagine how bad that must be. So is there any way that you could transfer your data over? Does sound like you can still access your data.

Wow. I haven't had a console die on me, but I did have a controller that stopped working.

OK, so I got this Pac-Man controller for my TV that you can plug in and play lots of classic arcade games when I was about 9 years old (I got that before I received a Wii nearly a year later) and I kept playing it hours and hours every single day because I absolutely LOVED Pac-Man and other Namco classic games. Eventually, after about a year of having it, the controller started having problems. The buttons still worked OK, but the controller was terrible. Every time I'd try to turn to the left, the game would make the character go up instead of left and it kept doing that every single time I played a game so it was like impossible to play games on there anymore. So I stopped using my Pac-Man controller and later I got a Wii for my birthday. My Wii hasn't had any problems in the 2-3 years I've had it

patar4097 : On every wifi game except for Guitar Hero 5 and 6 (Legends Of Rock), you can't transfer any data to SD cards to move unless you download homebrew and other hacking apps to be able to remove the wifi game data moving block Nintendo puts on games. Mainly, it was there to prevent any cheating like for some reason that I don't know.

Also, I have lost data of a Tetris game on the DS just by playing it on another DS I have in which I didn't know it would erase data. But I don't really play DS anymore, only to use my v1.60 action replay. That's the reason you can't transfer data over explained above.

kingvictory : It thankfully wasn't your fault. It (The disc motor) must have started wearing out which must have been the reason I can't spin wii discs. The disc motor is weird. Doesn't read any wii games anymore as far as I know, and when it does, it stops at the intro. All my gamecube games worked, so I played through Sonic Heroes as Team Rose. I miss playing on my old brawl file now.

GameBoy1023 : Yeah, I am obsessed with brawl, although I miss not having melee. Never had a copy, but I gave up a few days after wanting to get melee so bad. It costed only around $25 I believe nowadays but that game is 11 years old.

Also, Wii U consoles don't have built in gamecube controller ports but there is a seperate adapter that connects to the wii remote so I can play gamecube controllers. I don't have it YET. Not sure when I am getting it, but hopefully soon.

Insanely incredible stats! Sorry that you lost your Wii. Brawl is one of the best games for that system, and I was pretty darn good at it as well, though I never went after anything like you did! My Wii was stolen from me a few years back after someone broke into my apartment and swiped a bunch of mine and my roommate's electronics. All the stats, all the games I had downloaded on it, and even my SD card... Gone. I'm glad you have a Wii-U to play Brawl on still. Perhaps if I get one myself, I might add you! You seem like you're pretty good at the game, and I like a challenge.

Sucks, :L

I managed to get a total of 1400 hours ( almost 60 days worth of playtime ) of playtime before my Wii stopped reading the disc.
I managed to get all the trophies before my game died

Well at least you weren't the only person to suffer from things like this.

iN008 : How the hell do you even clear boss battles on intense!?!? Allstar on Hard, I only used one continue, but intense, I would get literally murdered near the end of the 35 characters to fight against. Atleast you don't get INSTANT GAME OVER upon dying once like in boss battles. But still, I only was able to do boss battles on EASY, I suck at the Tabuu red rays of doom dodge. Because they pretty much one hit kill. Can't time those down sheilds properly when having to worry about doing it all over again, screwing up the entire process. Stickers are bad enough, but trophies, you'd rather get swung in the butt by Ganondorf's bat than be doing throohy farming strats like in SubSpace, but I am not ever going to that crappy mode ever again. Already had every character except for maybe Toon Link and Wolf, but Jigglypuff also. Purin (Japan name for jigglypuff) FTW!

Stevie 764 : Intense mode took me about 23 tries... Finally managed to do it with pit in the end.
Came close with Meta-Knight several times.

Once you get there patterns right and are lucky enough to predict what they are about to do you can do it.
But it seriously takes practice ... and a lot of coffee and patience.

iN008 : Can't you get a new brawl disc as backup of your data? Or not? I already heard of the game data erasing automaticly if you play a cartridge or disc on another wii. I don't see how getting another disc should erase data because all your data is on that one wii, but I don't know if you can try that. If you ever start playing again, tell me and I will add your friend code so we can do friendly brawl online. All players who beat boss battles on either very hard or intense or allstar on intense are really good players compared to me. I can do allstar with one continue on hard, but I can't do boss battles on normal. Not sure if I should try it again though. To unlock it, I have to beat subspace emissary. Damn you, Nintendo! There was 3 ways to unlock every character in brawl! Y U NO GIVE ALTERNATE WAY TO UNLOCK BOSS BATTLES? I had to say it, so there. I don't know how good you are at home run contest, because I had nearly 79,500 feet in total for high score, with Ganondorf being my highest score, ~4625ft. Co-op score is 8622.1ft controlling two ganondorfs at the same time by just myself. That's what you call skill. My co-op strat is this:

Ganon 1 [Ganon 2] fsmash to right [fsmash to right] [quarter second wait, fsmash to left] full jump ADA canceling lag [face sandbag, close to do usmash] FJ ADA [Usmash] x4 [x4] [WP] TWP knocking sandbag backwards.

That's input strat. FJ = Full Jump

Then my ganondorf solo strat.

BTF C BTF C BD FJ ADA+BC x3 (no lag) DJ BD ADA BTU+TWP @173%-228% = 4622.1ft

But still, I'd love to see you online in brawl so we can fight.

Stevie 764 : If I ever get the wi-fi on my wii fixed I'll be sure to. ( Don't know what I did to it. )
If I have to buy a whole new system to fix the wi-fi I'll end up waiting for Smash 4 as I already have a Wii U ( Which doesn't have a smash bro save and the disc is pretty scratched up. )

As for the home run contest, it has never been my specialty. I never found a good tactic but I did get all the relevant trophies ( Barely. )
My cousin showed me how to get it far enough but nothing like 8k even when I was playing with him.

I know one thing, I had so much traveled distance on Smash bros. Brawl I can't even remember what 0 it was at xD.
I know I had the record of about 3217 on Endless brawl which I'm pretty sure was done with R.O.B due to his ridiculously fast recover time.
I bad unless I get another disc I won't be able to get back on to defeat my record.

As for stickers I never really got near collecting them all. ( Due to doing the last half of the Subspace emissary in hard mode then intense mode instead of doing normal mode first like the rest of them due to my impatience. )

Sorry man. Guess it is time for a new one. I know just how much time it takes, , I hope you get this fixed up and you get better after your loss.

That sucks. The only console I've had die was my Xbox 360, after it had a faulty fan and got the RRoD. I got a new one, and so far I haven't had any other consoles die on me. At least you have the Wii U
