Every game I play for every system is "off center". I can never see the very bottom or very right of any game. I went to take a screen shot to show an example but the screen shot looks normal? Anyways this is a huge bummer because I usually cant see my life bar, or score, or part of the actual game! So I am basically done playing games here. That's a travesty..
I couldn't tell a death pit from a small drop in the NES Adventure Island games.
I can't see the bottom row of blocks in Tetris. It's amazing how much that throws you off...
I can't read all the text in RPG's. That's Rudypoo...

Anyone else have this happen? I've looked through all the emulators options for something similar but I have found nothing.

Thank You.

Sounds pretty bad. Does that still happen if you make the window full screen? And what about if you were to make the game itself in full screen mode. This doesn't work for every system though.

patar4097 :   What systems go full screen!? I've never been able to do that when i've played. I can at least check it out, see if it's normal. Yeah this blows...

Thank you for that idea also.

Full screen only works with the Mednafen emulator, you have to press Ctrl + Enter to get it (and to get out of this mode).

Also, Try lowering the zoom level of your Browser, that usually helps.

Eddy88 :   Thank you for the suggestions. I tried Game Boy, NES and SNES and none of that trio would let me enter Full Screen in Mednafen. I had never even used Mednafen before.

As for the zoom level, it's already pretty low.  I tried lowering it, but no help. Ahh.... thanks anyways.

The main emulator for SNES is ZSNES, you can enter fullscreen by pressing escape and clicking the fullscreen icon. 1964 lets you go into fulscreen by pressing alt+enter. Try both of them. Weirdly, with ZSNES, I had to reconfigure controls after going into fullscreen, you may have to do so as well.

Happens to me a lot.
But it is usually the Mame games since they have to keep aspect ratio...
Full screen usually fixes the problem as stated above.

Just try and use different emulators.

tails the fox :

When I hit esc. While in ZSNES the menu pops up... but is also affected. I can't even see the minimize, maximize, close icons. I just know they are supposed to be there. I can actually click on it (just by guessing where it is at) but even then
it will say my game is loading but nothing will happen. I let it sit for 10 minutes one of my attempts.
I CAN make it smaller but it is still affected the same way. I am just able to see everything with it still being off center. If I try to go full screen at all my Internet Explorer just shuts down... it won't even let me move the cursor but I still see it... it's just a mess.

Thanks for trying to help man, like I said before, major bummer.

iN008 : When this happens to you is the emulator menu screen still affected?

I'll keep trying things, thanks again y'all.

Dragoon26 : Stop using internet explorer. Firefox seems to work the best when it comes to add-ons. Oh, and the alt+enter thing works with ZSNES as well.

Dragoon26 : I've never had problems much with that emulate ( with the esc menu )
But it has went slightly off before. It isn't a huge problem when it happens since you can still play the games.

What emulator do you use the most?
Ohh and by the way the best browser for the RGR plugin is Firefox or Chrome.
They are recommended anyway because they have ad-block

Windows Internet explorer is just awful.

Going fullscreen with Mednafen will fix it, but it's the Alt and Enter keys, not Crl and Enter, that will do this. This is common in windowed mode though if your browser's zoom isn't default. So to fix it you'd have the play window active then click on the web page and tap the Ctrl and 0 keys to reset the browser zoom, then click back on the game.
