YES. Nintendo, finally giving in, is soon going to release EarthBound, the American Mother 2, on the Wii U Virtual Console!!!!!!!
As Vizzed's biggest Mother fan, I'm happy to announce this!
Iwata made this announcement not too long ago about it. He & Itoi are happy to bring Mother 2 to US shores once again.
And I'm happy, too. I hope this will add some fans to Earthbound and let the lost people who play these shooter games play this wonderful game.

This is all good, but I would like if it were to come out on 3DS virtual console. I hate how small the VC on 3DS is. I have about 20 games from it (I got them from the ambassador promotion) which is cool, but it is not too advenurous with console. Last time I checked 3DS estore, there were no N64 games, and very little SNES games. It is mostly just NES and GameBoy Advance games on there.

As a fan of earthbound, I'm really looking forward to this game. it seems pretty cool from what i have heard. i also hope they put some extras in the game, like post game stuff or new dungeons.
