I just Cleared the first couple of levels to "Dead To Rights 2". (Got it for under $10.00 Bucks.)
Looks like the Same team that made the "BatMan Arkham" series.

Why not make a Game where you can play as either Gordon or the Dark Night??
Make it like a "Resident Evil" 1 or 2 Style of an experience where you get to unlock different story info depending on your character.
Unlockable Characters would be a breath of fresh air too. (Too much stale "D.L.C." in modern games that really do not change the experience much. "In.My.Opinion." I think it is time to bring back what was good from the old days.)

Any Thoughts on such a project?

I believe that this is a great idea you could see both sides of the story from the view of two characters and what they had to do they could clarify each others stories and whatnot.

I was just pondering what comic book could work as a Guide for the story. Any would do.

I like the "BatMan Year One" Tale. (BatMans first Year Out.) Plus the Story that covered Gotham after an earthquake. The entire city was divided into gangs and factions. ("No Mans Land".)

Why I would want a game with the second story is obvious if you played the "Arkham" games.
Why "Year One"?
I just want to see Gordon as the Bad@$$ he is. (He once gets into a Fist-Fight giving his opponet a baseball bat to give the dude an equal chance.)

The Technology and Design are already present.
I see no reason why a great Idea like this has not been mentioned before.
Would not take the developers much time or too much money to make Either. For "the Suits" that throw money at projects and want double Profits? This could be a great oprotunity.

Got Any Story Arcs from the comics that could work???

I completely agree year one was amazing and I would enjoy a game based on those times and also playing with Gordon since you never really get to see him do a whole lot so I would like to see something like that it but as we know most game company's don't care about us I;m staring at you capcom gimmie my mega man legends 3 lol

Finished Dead to Rights 2.
It is not the best Sequel for Dead to Rights. (Matter of fact they rewrote the original with this instalment.)
But for Bat-Man Fans needing a Beat-Down-The-Thugg Fix???
It is an honest and solid game.
The Story Rips the majority of the Comedy and Charm of the First Instalment out.
Then Replaces it with extreme Drama and Foul Language and Over The Top Grittyness that Works for the Bat-Man Games. But not for the Film-Noir Comedy that was this series.
Much of it reminds me of "Die Hard" without the witty Chatter.
This would be a great game to model another Bat-Man game with but have Gordon as a selectable Character. (Resident Evil 1,or 2 Style.)
The Length of this game is short but that can be remedied with a 2 disk Idea that Resident Evil games Revolutionized.
I want a "Bat-Man and Gordon" Game Badly and these Developers can make it happen.
Keep Posting here and Make some noise in the right places.
Maybe someone will make it happen.

Curious idea of a batman " resident evil " styled game...
I do not see how it would make much sense if you don't use scarecrow.

I do not see how you could use Gordon as a main character though :L.
I could understand how you could do things with characters like night-wing though whom hasn't really seen properly in any of the Arkham games as far as I know.

Interesting idea in theory... just odd.

Your idea is fine but what I was Talking about was the optional characters, the differing stories and the unlockable bonus characters and tales.
I had no intention of survival horror.

But the idea you have sparks a few in mine.
If one were to play as Bat-Man nothing would make sense like the Scarecrow or Rhas Al Goul Levels.
If you play as Gordon you have to capture the Bat-man because he is "Tripping out".
I can not see if they can make it through an entire game like that But I am Open to Suggestions.

I want this game to Happen.
