I post in the thread creators Profile Page.
It's Just A Zelda Game Fan Forum.

Nothing a sentence or two will not fix.

They might get bothered but I see no need to have such a popular topic in a game site to only have a few people talking about it????

So post in their Profile page. And Spread the word.

Could be they want attention too.
You decide the best way to handle it.

If you treat your posts like its asking the secretary to drop off the mail on their profile page then they might get the hint.
Get enough people doing this and I see a whole lot of fun that can be had.

I rarely see their threads on the new posts page anyway.
