Greetings all, and welcome to Mafia XV, the fifteenth in the line of Somewhat Logical Detective Games on Vizzed. This game will promise to not only be exciting, but also fresh for both new and old players alike. The basic game mechanics will follow what legacyme3 outlined in the sign-up thread, with a minor addition: achievements! These achievements will be awarded at the end of the game and mean nothing, really; they simply recognize a role for doing their job, i.e. a doctor saving a person, a sheriff getting a guilty on a Mafioso, etc.

Also, this Mafia game will be "prettied up" a bit; my posts will look nicer and will clearly show information such as the people and roles remaining. Any questions regarding the UI can be PM'd to me.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, be sure to know the rules before playing. Read through some of the old Mafia threads, and read the rules in the sign-up thread. Any questions over the rules can be PM'd to me as well.

This round somehow seems promising! But let's see if it really will!

I wonder how Mafia will be taken care of with cas running it. Could it be different or is it the same game with a bit of a plot twist? Looks like a bit of an EpicMafia twist to it. I like that, I've played it on their website, and it's pretty fun.

I refuse to love this mafia game until the researcher is brought back.

mlb789 : I removed Researcher from our list, because it is so horrendously broken and nobody can think of a good way to balance it without castrating it.

Fairly Vanilla looking game, and I don't say that just because 9/16 of the roles are "Vanilla". Then again, after having me host, any game's gonna look pretty Vanilla in comparison.

Yay! Mafia's back! I do hope that it won't last as long as last time tho... lol

Watching the last one, it did seem long, but to me, they always seemed to take a long time to finish. Well, here we go.

I hate being townie... if I at least had a interesting Townie role, then I would be more interested.

Anybody wonder how logical the game will get? If the game requires to become a logical step, opposed to the previous few games, we might have to come together and think of a plan.

That looks like a good idea, I'm willing to help out with the plan to hunt the Mafia dudes, they aren't too much, so we should be able to get rid of them before the Town is destroyed.

We just need to follow the plan and fire correctly, lynching Townies are NOT an option.

Also, I would avoid throwing out FoS before the game has properly started. It's bad form, makes you look like you're grasping at polypropylene tubes before we've even begun.
