Instead of getting a set amount of Viz and CP per day, what if it increased each consecutive daily visit, capping at one week? For example, visit one day, get the regular amount. The second day in a row that you visit, the reward is increased by .5, and so forth. As long as the user visits every day, they could receive a multiplier of  3.0 on the final day of the week. The multiplier could be reset at the end of each week, and/or when the user misses a daily visit during said week. This would give users more reason to visit the site every day, and thus increase visit number and overall traffic.

The thing is, an expiration time for being logged-in would have to be implemented, and should be, anyway. This would be to prevent people from staying logged-in constantly, even when not on the site, and getting rewards for visiting daily even when they don't.

I can see the point of not having a CP increase, but possibly having other rewards implemented for visiting each day. The multiplier for users whom advance in site rank could just be added on to the weekly multiplier. That would also give users incentive to do well so that they advance forward in positions.

Another thought that comes to mind, is if the Viz/CP increase would conflict with the new system, exp earned from posts each day could be used as the reward, instead.

Actually I have plans on rewarding users who come to the site every day for many days straight.

I don't know if anyone remembers the award system I plan to implement on vizzed eventually but a few of the awards will involve coming to the site many days in a row; example:

Visit vizzed 7 days in a row = bronze award
Visit vizzed 30 days in a row = silver award
Visit vizzed 90 days in a row = gold award
Visit vizzed 365 days in a row = platinum award

earthwarrior : Nothing really, just another stat that users can feel proud of. It'd be like the Xbox 360 Acheivements or the Playstation 3 trophies. They don't have any real point but their fun to collect and show off.
