This is a stop motion video I made in 2007 based on Halo 2 using Halo toys. My wife (girlfriend at the time) helped me put this together.

In this video, the Spartans are coming to the rescue but encounter some enemies they have to fight off.

The video took nearly 40 hours. I used an Aiptek to record gameplay from Halo 2, transfered it to my computer, and than extracted the audio for sound effects. I have the Halo soundtrack, so that is what I used for the music. I played the game for a few hours just for the sake of this, took snapshots of what the effects look like from the guns and such. I wanted this to be as accurate to the game as possible.

This was all put together using flash. Each keyframe consists of a new image, and I used vector graphics and animations to create the effects. This was my very first stop-motion video put together in Flash and I concluded that Flash is definitely the best program to use.
