Iron man and RDJ are synonymous to me. I'll have a tough time enjoying Iron Man again without him. His replacement is Jon Hamm.

No, Jon Hamm just wouldn't feel like Iron Man. He is too... not Tony Stark XD. I don't know, I guess I thought that RDJ has become Iron Man, for Avengers and Iron Man, until they run out of sequels or he gets too old. It just seems weird with it not being him. And Jon Hamm doesn't look a lot like RDJ except for the fact that they both have black hair. Hopefully he can play the role well.

RDJ makes the Iron Man character, replacing him with someone else who wouldn't be able to bring his humour to the character, would just destroy the Tony Stark image so many people have grown to love.
For the sake of the movies and the mass amount of fans out there in the world, I hope that this doesn't come to pass.

Is this for real? I saw that one article was brought up on April fool's day, but I think there was something earlier than that. If this is somehow true, it would absolutely suck. It's like the Pinto stlye Ford Mustang. A complete joke. This would ruin the Avengers movie, and Iron franchise. But again, this is only if this were to be true.
