I have braces right now and I'm supposed to have them for 2 years. I can still remember the terrible pain I had to go through with my first week of braces... I couldn't even chew, my teeth hurt so much. I just had to move food around in my mouth and swallow it hole. It was pretty bad. And then I was supposed to get rubber bands in my mouth a couple months later to stretch out my teeth and pull them up in the right direction, but my family has tried as hard as we can, but we just can't get those darn rubber bands in. We've tried calling the orthodontist for bigger and looser bands but they gave us even smaller ones... *sigh*

Good thing I have an appointment this month so we can get everything straightened out.
