I had a lot of fishes at one point and the tank was always full.  One day, a fish I called Nemo died and after that one by one every single fish started to follow until there was maybe 2 or 3 fish left.  My parents and I decided to give the fishes away and gave away the fish tank.  There were my only pets and I never had another pet since.

I've had 2 pets die so far. One of them died on her own and the other one my family had to put down.

I had a dog die around 3 years ago, she was around 16 years old when she died. She was just so fragile, we could bare it anymore. It had to be put down.

hyperknuckles : My sister had a guinea pig and she quit taking care of him and my mom forced me to take care of him. Eventually the guinea pig died from something we didn't know about. Sad to see life vanish before your eyes but we know it's inevitable. Still very sad

My family actually had a cat that was names diamond because it was the jewel of the family, Yet one day it wandered off and didn't come back until two more days , apparently it was bruised up and the next day it died I wasn't crying or anything yet my insides nearly died because of the tragic day so now we live without the cat yet we got over the news and live without him . To be honest I really didn't know what he did around outside but apparently he was bruised up and didn't look so good when we found him so we just tried everything to keep him alive. 

i had a bunny he was so cute and i really loved him but then i felt that hes lonely he was alone so i let him go free i cry so much but maybe now hes not alone i really miss him 

hyperknuckles : I've never even had a pet, sadly. I wish I had one, but I don't think it was meant to be. I'm decreed to get one in the future though.

I once had a pet bird that had been shot. We were trying to nurse it back to health but it soon died. Poor fellow.

Well.. my dog didn't necessarily died... more like run away and we don't know what happened to her, so I'm going to have to say she's probably dead by now. Back where I was from, we had a pet dog named Nina (don't know what type of dog, but she was an orange-nish color. She had small  triangle-like ears and not those floppy ears types, she was skinny and not puffy like, and she was medium sized) when I was 6, we moved away to American (did not bring the dog, left the dog with one of my aunts) Aunt accidentally let her ran away, and we don't know what happened to her since. It'd be a miracle if she snuck on a ship to america, traveled states and miles, and find her way back to me. But that never happened, so I'm assuming she's dead. I miss Nina. I want another pet so badly, but all I ever get was little fishes that die in a week. (We're not allowed to have dogs in our house because they'll make a mess all over the place.) 

To be honest, this is a very sad thread, and I will remember my amazing birds forever. ♥

So, In total, I had 3 birds that died due to poisonous gas by accident.

They smelled it, then one day later, Guess what? They all died, Sadly.

I was so mad. They were like the 3 greatest birds I ever had.

Well, I did get a $250 refund on those birds, and I just wish they were alive still

My step-siblings had a rabbit and a guinea pig that died but I don't remember the rabbit and guinea pig's names but the died when me and my step-sister where I think 5 years old

I have had 3 dogs died first one got ran over in the night by someone driving in the dark the second on got stolen and probably got killed and the 3rd one got canine cancer I would say it was the first time I cried with my grandfather cause we both loved that dog.

Ive had 2 siberian hamsters (both named viggo though i didnt have them at the same time) which are both dead. (Which isnt that weird because they only live about 2 years).
I was really sad when they died...

My family got a pair of Zebra Finches (one white and one black) from my brother's 3rd grade teacher who's class wanted to get rid of them. We had no idea how old they were, but the black one died after about 4 years. We replaced him with another, but the white one lives to this day, we guess he's about 12 years old (which is significantly longer than the average life expectancy for this type of bird).

I actually had a pet about 3 months back that died named tippy. Died of old age. Old cat

Have I you ever had a pet that died?, Well No I've never had a pet that has died, and I've never had a pet. But if I was to have a pet, I would have a gold fish because if it died it wouldn't be as dramatic as if a dog, cat or any other lager animal died.

dude thats awful i had a baby bunny once and some stray dogs came and saw it and killed it 

My first pet was a goldfish but then it died because it choke to death when the plastic decoration fell on it. I didn't even care about it. But I hope my dog doesn't die.
