Which starfox game is your favorite? My favorite is starfox64 as some may know. I love the gameplay, the characters, and the way it differs from most shooters.

Starfox 64. That game is awesome. It's the best in it's genre in my opinion, and I'm a fan of that genre anyway. I liked the ability to alter which path your journey takes.

I would have to agree on you there with Starfox 64. The ways you could choose different paths and stories, along with all the characters and how the game played, it's my favourite starfox game to date. I also liked the medal factor and how the best starfox players could face each other in multi-player on foot. That was a nice touch to the very dedicated.

Darkpower508 : I am really liking Star Fox 64. . .except for Katt. . .

Bill was a much better side character.

The ability to alter your path is really cool, I love how it is tied in to your mission objectives.
I'm trying to get all of the medals now, I'm really looking forward to unlocking foot based multi-player combat.

StarFox 64 It's the only title I have played of the Starfox series, but I really like the game. I haven't done a Red line run yet, but I plan on doing so soon.

Does nobody else here prefer THIS BEAST?

YEAH. BEAT THAT. THE ORIGINAL IS STILL THE BEST. And Stuff.

But really, Starwing is the best Starfox game. I think it has the best control and music of the games. But the graphics have NOT aged.

Favorite of the Star Fox series is Star Fox 64, because that is the only star fox game I own, and the first I've ever played. The missions are straight forward, but do require some skill. I do try and beat my score each time, and most importantly, DO A BARREL ROLL!

...I don't think I could go into detail on which would be my favorite, so I'd rather go into why I love each game I played so much.

Star Fox (SNES): While I only had the cart briefly when I borrowed it from a friend, what little I played of it, I enjoyed. It was nice seeing the game from its roots when most of my play time lies in much of its roots, and was a challenge to beat on all the paths. For its time, it looked amazing, too. This was, ironically, the last released game I played. (I have no means to buy Star Fox 64 3D.)

Star Fox 2 (unreleased final beta): Dang it, Nintendo, this game should have been released. I really enjoyed the tactical challenge this game presented, especially on Hard difficulty where pretty much all hell broke loose. It was a major challenge to beat the game without allowing Corneria to suffer any damage whatsoever, but doable, and I loved every minute of it. Also, Miyu and Fey were awesome characters. Bring them back already!

Star Fox 64 (N64): Probably the last Star Fox game I bought, and only for Virtual Console, though I have early memories of renting the game for a few days. Being the first game in the series I played, and the last I beat due to not having it for long as a child, I have some nostalgia factor going in this, but it was quite enjoyable to play, and a major challenge to medal every planet on both modes. To this day, I still have yet to beat Venom on the easy path, but I will break through that opening line someday. This, I vow.

Star Fox Adventures (GCN): I bought this game after purchasing Assault and beating it a couple times, curious where Krystal came from. As much grief as this game gets, I found it enjoyable. Might not be a good and proper Star Fox game, but looking at it simply as a game, I enjoyed it. I just wish they actually let you fight General Scales.

Star Fox Assault (GCN): The first Star Fox game I truly owned, and I didn't even pick up this title until a couple months before the Wii was released. I'd played the first two levels on an in-store demo, and that pretty much drove me to buy a Gamecube so late in its life. There may not have been any choices in where you went, but I certainly enjoyed the gameplay, loved tearing Panther a new one for hitting on Krystal so much (sorry, Panther fans), and generally enjoyed the challenge of getting all the medals without dying. Still need to go through survival on gold and clear it without dying, though. Until then, I don't feel like I'm done with this game.

Star Fox Command (NDS): I heard a lot of people say this game was comparable to the unreleased Star Fox 2. In my opinion, this game is nothing like Star Fox 2. Star Fox 2 was real time. This game was more or less turn based. Unfortunately, that is the problem I have with this game. Once you figure out how to effectively have infinite time in combat, beating this game is a cakewalk. It's far too easy. If this game were in real time, instead of a timer ticking down until you fail, I feel like this game would've had a more proper challenge. Aside from that, the multiple paths I feel like were done well, and while some endings kind of make me rage (see: anything ending with Pigma as your final boss), other endings were really done well, and feel like endings I would want Nintendo to continue off of if they finally get around to making a sequel to Star Fox and not just a remake of 64 or something. The only thing I never got to experience on this that I still want to is online multiplayer.

Sorry that last one kinda turned into a semi-review. ^^'' But yeah, these are my thoughts on the games. I really can't pick a favorite out of these, they're all that good. [/textwall]

Obviously, my favorite is Star Fox 64. I haven't played Star Fox 2 and Command, and haven't finished Adventures and Star Fox SNES. Which basically means the only ones I've beaten are Star Fox 64 and Assault, and I like Star Fox 64 more.
