Site maintenance is complete. I apologize for it being unexpected but I did at least go out of my way to make sure the site was up during most of the time.

The site should be a lot faster now and should have a fewer errors.

Davideo7 : What all did you fix? Just speed, or will some things be less glitchy? Thanks, as always, for the hard work!

mrfe : He had to adjust ram settings in order for this site to perform better and faster and probably did more as well to help speed it up.

I lost everything that took place yesterday. I lost some messages and a few layouts I made. Is there anyway to get that stuff back?

ender44 : Nope, sorry. Anything that was done during maintenance was lost, that's why I disabled a lot of features. The only thing that wasn't lost is save files.

Amazingly my Notifications reset after the maintenance was complete... which in my case was amazing because I kept checking them while it was going on, not aware that I couldn't post and then I couldn't reply in any of the threads I was summoned to. I was afraid that I would forget what summons I didn't answer when it got back @.@ but thankfully, it erased whatever flag said I had viewed the notifications so I saw all the posts I needed to see marked.

Crazy Li : Basically I reverted to a backup that was made before the maintenance began.

Thanks because Iv had problems before with slowness and whenever I went to new post sometimes it wouldn't let me in it I would have to click it about 30 times before it would let me through to the post you do a lot of hard work I appreciate you a lot.

I was so choked when newreply wasn't working.... usually maintenance doesn't affect that and I can still post.

I was having posting withdrawals during the maintenance.

Sword legion : The site's traffic has been increasing a lot lately and it's hard to keep up, especially when I don't have the budget to get a new server so I gotta do what I can with my current servers.

geeogree : I basically didn't want anyone to submit any sort of content to the site because all content posted after the maintenance started would've been loss since I had to do a database migration.

oh man, so all that content I submitted before you took down the edit page... is gone?  Yipes!  LOL  Do you know if they were all added back to the non-tested games in the list I use to access the games?  I'm wondering because I have no idea what games I tested and added content to.  If they didn't end up back in that list... I have no idea what games they were to add content that is allowable (if there is any). I haven't got around to reading your thread on the issue yet.  I guess I'll go do that in a second.

The only thing which happened was I lost a trust point (that someone had given me during maintenance), meaning everyone lost trust points they gained during those two days..... and somehow Viz (because my Viz dropped when the site was 'reset').  I wasn't aware I made around 1000 Viz somehow during maintenance..... ???  Not sure how that happened.  LOL

Anyways, thanks for ALL the awesome work.  Seriously.  I wish there was more we could do to help. Maintenance on this site is no small thing, and I hope you know it's not being taken for granted by all users!

I'm glad you took the posting down, I can just imagine the uproar it would have caused! All those post and vizzed earned.

Well, Everything seems to be perfect after the Maintenance... Excepting what Light Knight says and that random "A" look-a-like letter that appears in your layout...

You should be able to look at your profile to see the last games that you played. All content on the entire site wasn't saved once the maintenance began (except save files).

It was actually about 1 1/2 days but yeah, any trust points given or received didn't count so users would have to give them out again (that was another thing I forgot to disable). I'm sure this didn't affect many people.

The only testing you can really do until I fix the RGR stuff is marking a game's error. Adding descriptions, reviews, videos, box art and screenshots is fine too.

Light Knight : Weird, the new DB must not like special characters. I'll look into it.

As for the games, I always sell them back after I add the content, so they wouldn't be listed in my owned games.  I guess I can go back through my computer history though.

Oh, I didn't think about screenshots.  So I can mark errors and add screenshots.  That will work for now.  I'll just make a list so I remember which games to go back to once the fix is in place.
