Now that I have a really powerful laptop with a pretty good graphic card (in fact, the laptop was marketed towards gamers but not the reason I bought it), I'd like to get a PC game to show off the power of this laptop.

What PC game has the best graphics or requires the most powerful computer to run?

STAR WARS THE OLD REPUBLIC, IS A GOOD ONE!

Kingnothing2010 : Are you saying that's it's simply good or are you saying that it has some of the best graphics of any game? If the latter, could you tell me why?

From what I've heard (And personally seen), the Crysis franchise has some pretty amazing graphics. Knowing that you like Halo, this may actually be a pretty good recommendation, considering it's also an FPS with a sort of similar style and idea to it. Truthfully, I haven't played it yet (It's on my to-get list though :V), so the whole deal with the graphics on it is really how I know about it, Nya~.

You can probably find it at a store or something, but if you prefer downloading it instead, you can find it over here on Steam, a pretty popular site for that stuff (That one links over to the sequel though. The first Crysis game is over here, also on Steam.)

Also, if you do decide to buy it on Steam, you'll need to make an account there first, unless you already do have one, in which case this is kinda just Omachao info, Nya~.

MegaRevolution1 : I'm pretty sure I did create a Steam account many years ago. Crysis 2 looks pretty good, I could try that one out. I'd probably end up downloading it instead of buying it in a store if I do go with that one.

I have no clue, probably what mega suggested the graphics on that game look pretty advanced.

We need a vizzed multiplayer pc clan. I doubt anyone here plays what I play but would be neat if we could all meet up and play multiplayer pc games together.

I'm fairly certain that Crysis (as a franchise) and Witcher 2 are among the best in graphics for PC gaming, and that says a lot. Battlefield 3 is also really good looking.

I plan on buying Crysis 3 after I build a new computer, so far it looks spectacular.

I always liked Skyrim, now I'm not talking about default Skyrim... I'm talking about the texture pack from Steam that makes it not make my eyes bleed when I see the textures.

I think MOH: Warfighter has the best graphics. They took the engine that Battlefield 3 was running on and improved from there. I have Crysis and As a franchise It has the best graphics. As a single game, Medal Of Honor: War-fighter.

While star wars knights is a GREAT game, and nice clean graphics,a 5 year old pc could probably handle it maxed.
And crysis does have sweet graphics, but tbh thats all, I feel. Its not a great game.

The online is pretty fun, but it is super repetitive. It is like halo, but certainly better. I really enjoyed it for maybe, a month.
Havent touched it in about a year now though.

JigSaw : Yeah I'd love to do that. Years ago we were going to do that with Phantasy Star Online (pc version), that was going to be the official MMORPG of vizzed but there wasn't enough interest at the time.

I have a minecraft server up and running but it requires people to buy the game which I think is $25.

alexanyways : Since a 3rd Crysis came out, maybe that'd be the one I'd get if I were to get a game in that franchise.

Star Wars is by no means one of the best graphic wise.

The Crysis series are known to make even the most powerful computers kneel in awe. Skyrim with a couple dozen texture mods and you graphics card forcing x 12 AA and supersampling will also max out your computers potential.

Got another game, but it'd need to be pre-ordered...

Have you heard about the new Tomb Raider game, the one that's coming out as a reboot? It comes out March 5th, and you can pre-order it here on Steam as well, except it's 10% off, and it really has been since it was brought up on Steam. Plus, pre-ordering it gets you quite a few cool gifts, so it'd be worth it as well, Nya~.

Some of the pictures on there don't really do it great justice, but really, there have been other pictures, and even videos, that truly prove that this game has some amazing graphics. In fact, it's apparently one of the first games to even have a real-time hair rendering system (Basically, makes hair move like it would IRL and stuff ), so that alone is also pretty impressive, and goes to tell you what's in store for the graphics in general for the series.

And like I said, this is a reboot game, so you wouldn't even need to truly go back and play all the other Tomb Raider games that came out before this to understand anything, since it'd be what I'm assuming is 99% new features and stuff, Nya~

MegaRevolution1 : Yeah I'm familiar with it, they've showed it off at the last three E3s lol, they've been developing that game forever. Definitely something I can consider.

Light Knight : Skyrim is a game I've wanted to play for the longest time but I'll never touch it due to how time consuming that game is.

Davideo7 : I am gonna say either Sonic Adventure Dx, or sonic heroes in my opinion. So far, I have the demo of them both.

As a few other people have said, Crysis 3 would be a good choice.

Going on what I have heard you need a really powerful gaming laptop to play it.

So if that is the case then the graphics  for the PC version must be phenomenal.

Also Tomb Raider, the PC version of that is amazing.
