I am developing a new Pokémon Fire Red hack called Pokémon - Ultra Violet Version

The game is pretty much done... 
but I need testers... 

If you don't know how to run an emulator on your own (off the site) don't bother because the game is not here yet (hopefully when its release it'll be here for all )

My big issue:
In Pokémon Fire Red, one mystical dog is released to roam Kanto depending on your starting Pokémon.
My hack needed to have all 3 Mystical dogs.. And I could not make them roam (I tried) so I made events throughout the game that had the other 2 dogs depending on your starting Pokémon... 

this code for Charmander has been tested... I need 2 skilled Fire Red players to play through my hack and find those 2 mystical dogs... and tell me which ones appear... if I messed up, people will get 2 of one dog and 0 of another... its simple to fix... and the last thing I need to do before the game can be released... 

5000 Viz for 3 screenshots, 1 screenshot of your starter (easy just shoot it in the beginning when you get the "give a nickname to you squirtle?" or whatever) and 1 screenshot in front of each mystical dog (ill even tell you where they are hiding)

1 person gets 5000 for Squirtle and another gets 5000 for Bulbasaur... that's 10000 total... and I have no issues donating to the site to pay for the legwork (I don't wanna play thru 3 times)

also, ill give a bonus for anyone that finds a real glitch that I can fix (ill determine if its a real glitch or not)

I can only trust that you don't cheat... if I ask for a couple more screenshots of whatever to prove your not cheating its only cause... well I did not trust you, but don't take it personally, I've worked really hard getting this hack up and running...

I'm hoping for a knowledgeable poke player and someone who knows their share about emulation...
its kinda a competition as well, if 2 players start with Squirtle the first to give me those 3 screenshots gets the Viz (I might be tempted to give a second place prize for someone checking the winners work)

LocksmithArmy : We could probably add a beta version of the game to the RGR so that it can get thoroughly tested. Once ready, than we can add the final version.

I'm not sure how you planned getting the Viz to award the users who help you out but since you've been making it a priority to make sure your hacks that get added to this site are of great quality, I'll send you some Viz to help out.

Sure, your welcome to add the Beta... just make sure everyone knows that it is a beta... so they know to look for and report issues they may find...

Sure ill test it. Would I have to play through the whole game? And how many gyms long is the actual hack so far. I'm wondering because it could take a while to get through the whole thing.

I'd be willing to test it also. So how many people do you need anyway? And I would like to know how long it would be as well.

Its only modding fire red to add things, so there are just the 8 original gyms... the actual events happen when you give the ruby and sapphire to celio so its quite late in the game...

I'm not asking you to rush through or anything, please enjoy the ride, find all the new things and whatnot... just when you get there be sure to take pix

I really only NEED 2, 1 for squirtle and 1 for bulbasaur... but the more the merrier...

like I said, the Viz goes to the first that get the screenshots, 1 for squirtle as a starter and 1 for bulbasaur as a starter... 

and Im thinking maybe 1000 for the second place (for each starter)

and probably 500 or 1000 for any good glitches that I have not fixed... (again, i decide if they are good glitches)
little stuff like "this text does not fit in this text box" or "this word is misspelled" DEFINITELY COUNT as glitches that I need to repair, Im all about quality and detail.
big stuff like "the game turns black when I try to go in digletts cave and I am forced to restart" (totally happened when I was testing the first time took 2 days to sort out) also count... 

id say the only thing I would not wanna consider a glitch is some graphical "errors" in an area I made... its supposed to look not perfect... if yorur smart you can deduct why it looks the way it does

I'll be happy to help and beta test. And this will be... GBA supported, i assume? If it is, I will download the emulator as soon as you let me know.

thing1 : yes its GBA but you can actually play the beta on here now... no need to play offline unless you just want to

LocksmithArmy : I will play it online. I do not have anything planned for my 4 day weekend... so when I am not doing anything, I will try it out. And I will use Squirtle. XD as much as I like Bulbasuar, I like Squirtle a little more because he evolves into Blastroise, and I love the water cannon move. So effective when you know how to use it.

I just wanted to list the glitches that have been reported:

mew does not disappear when captured, only when defeated...

the mystical dogs do not disappear when captured and when you defeat one BOTH disappear.

both these glitches have been fixed for the final release... (I believe) 

if anyone finds anything else, please let me know

earthwarrior : I don't know if I'm not understanding you or your not understanding me... but the 2 dogs not roaming ARE in events... I only need a screenshot of your starter so that I know which starter you used... I need screenshots of the mystical dog event (one on route 2 and the other in rock tunnel) because I need to make sure the dogs in those areas show correctly... so none of them are the roaming dog for that starter..

so just stand in front of a dog and take a screenshot...

similar to those images, but yours should only have 1 dog, not all 3... (those are old Alpha tests)

I would love to help you out I'm actually trying to make a Pokémon hack with a friend myself. We have no idea what we are doing but we are fast learners so hopefully it will not be too hard lol. And if I understand you correctly you would like a picture of  the starter Pokémon I choose, a picture of the legendary dog I encounter on route 2, A picture of the legendary dog I encounter in the rock tunnel, and a picture of the very first legendary dog I encounter from which starter Pokémon I choose. Plus any possible glitches. Sounds easy enough. I will get right on that
