The stupidest part in my opinion is Microsoft's plan to block the Used Game market. Xbox will include one-time-use activation codes with every game that you NEED in order to run the game.

I think it's stupid with the whole code being shipped with the games too, I hope Sony doesn't decide to do the same thing with the PS4 which is supposed to be bigger and better than the 720 but they haven't given specifics yet.  We'll see though I really can't wait for this stuff.

Honestly they can't think of a better way to drive away their market.

Expect those things to be the downfall of that console.

You also need an internet connection for the console to even start, reportedly.

But, this is speculation, so it's not confirmed.

This is a big surprise. I can't believe they will do this. This is not going to look good for them. So glad that I hate Xbox.

First 25 cent Arcades go. Then $4.00 dollar Blockbuster video goes. Now $20.00 Buck Game-stop goes.

Then instead of asking a couple of quarters or a couple of bucks they want hundreds of dollars plus monthly instalments.

And now it is finally here.

I know I will not be upgrading any time soon.

Fairly soon there will be no selection in games too.
You will have Halo, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Mario, Grand Theft Auto and EA Sports. And Nothing Else.

I said it before and I'll say it again. They want the monthly payments. Monthly Payments for something we do not even need. Need like Food or Transportation.
I say don't buy. Stick to "P.C." and watch them squirm.
This Technology is already here. The Upgrades are only a couple of bucks.
The Price? New, Old, Used, or whatever. Is fair. No monthly Fees. No "B.S.".
You pay once and it's done. Business complete. Supply and Demand.

See... it's not the used market that is killing the game industry.
It's the greed. It's the stupidity. It's the lack of healthy competition. The Idea is Monopoly.

I say why bother?
Just don't pay up and watch them crumble.

Sony won't make this mistake. They are not doing as well financially. They can't afford to piss off their userbase.

This is the perfect time to steal some people over to the PS4 and completely wipe Microsoft out of the console race.

If Sony somehow screws us... hey the WiiU exists and doesnt totally suck.

At any rate... this is quite likely the dumbest thing Microsoft has ever done. I don't see how this benefits them in any way whatsoever.

Well, looks like if this happens, it will just be Sony vs. Nintendo. Nobody's going to buy something with all these restrictions. Who would buy a $60 game? If you don't like it, you are screwed. Way to mess up Microsoft. I really couldn't care less anyway. But why are they still trying to ride the motion controls? At least the Wii and Move had the possibility to have some standard gameplay, but Kinect has nothing of the sort. Can you use it for anything besides dancing games?
