Personally, I hate this...
So, I'm about to post something in a thread, may it be an explanation, rant, ABC, or summon.
However, before I'm finished typing, someone else has already posted the EXACT SAME THING right before me, so my now redundant post makes me look like a complete idiot!  And, it happens EVERY DAY!

So, what are your feelings about this unavoidable event?

It happens. It's just a fact of life on forums. If it bothers you that people might think you're being redundant, just edit your post and be like "Oops, I got ninja'd" underneath your post. Then people will know that those were your genuine feelings or opinions, someone elsewhere just beat you to the draw.

I don't like it when it happens but it's not always as bad as you make it out to be.

I personally like seeing 2 or 3 responses giving the same advice on something. That means that several people have all seen results that match up.

I've learned to look at posting times before getting on someone's case for repeating the same answer or whatever. Obviously, it's against rules to spam up Help threads and stuff by providing the same solution someone else did (you need to contribute NEW content to threads) but if I notice that your posts have the same time stamp (or are within a few minutes of each other), I'm not gonna yell at you for it. Clearly, you weren't spamming but rather had a post sneak in while you were typing.

I remember once I closed a thread while someone was posting but when I tied to open it so the post could go through I trashed it by accident...

This has never happened to me before on vizzed, but I know from previous experiences on other forums, it's so annoying, even if you post first and it's up for about a week, they'll post it and get double the amount of replys as you got, in one day.. Yeh, it's really annoying, but what can we do?
