I've heard of sightings of all the legendaries from every region except for Mewtwo, Celebi, and Jirachi. Are they in this game, and if so where can they be found?

All three of those Pokémon can be found in the altering cave, Mewtwo with a 3% chance of showing up, Celebi with a 1% and Jirachi with a 1%. The rest of the Pokémon in the cave are all legendary so feel free to catch them also.

if you want to catch them make sure to have some master balls ready so you dont ko it or struggle itself to death just have the right tools head to the cave and be ready for when the three pokemon pop out

Thank goodness! Celebi and Jirachi are two of my favorite legendaries! I'd be so sad if the weren't in Rebirth. I haven't played it much, but excellent game thus far from what I've seen!

Actually you can find them rather early in the game even before you get pokeballs but you will be at a low level while they are level 100 just cross that bridge than there you go.
