I have some experience with hacking Pokemon roms, and I thought I would put this to good use. I am going to make a Vizzed theme Pokemon hack. Since I want all of you guys to enjoy it, I want you to help me decide what I am doing.

1: Which game should I hack? The options are R/S/E and FR/LF. I can also do G/S/C or R/B/Y, but I would prefer not to. If enough people want it though, I will do it.

2: Recommended Hacking Tools. I already have a lot of tools for hacking, but are there any that you would recommend? I have the basics like AdvanceText, AdvanceMap, AdvanceStarter, and a few different ones for Sprite editing. If there is anything better then these, please do tell.

3: Sign up below if you would like to be in the game. I am going to change the trainers names and Pokemon to the preferences of you guys (for example, Davideo7 will probably be the champion if it is R/S/E or G/S/C). Remember, there are a LOT of trainers, so being chosen will be likely. The better known you are around the board will determine how strong your trainer will be. For example, if you are a very well know user, you will probably be a gym leader or a member of the Elite Four. If you are chosen, I will tell you what trainer you are going to be and will ask what pokemon you want.

This will be a big project, so I hope you guys can help me achieve this goal. I planned doing it a long time ago, but I cancelled it. Now that I have more experience, hopefully this will be a success. Thanks for reading, be sure to reply!

metroidhunter72 : metroidhunter... I TOTALLY agree on this project I have an suggestion. How about we make people on Vizzed the NPCs.
Davideo7 can be Prof. Oak, I can be a random NPC (or the rival, your choice..) and other people can be the NPCs! It will be so fun!!!

Wow. This sounds like an amazingly fun and awesome idea!  It'd be insanely time consuming, and I applaud your willingness to do it!  This would be totally epic.    If there is anything we can do to help, let us know.  I, for one, have no clue about hacking games.

Oh good idea. If you want to change the sprites you can use something like unlz.gba. It's pretty simple but you have to look through a lot because I think you can edit every sprite in the game.

Anyways, if you are really going to do this (it appears that you are), I would really like to see you hack R/S over FR/LG.  I haven't seen enough good R/S hacks, so I'd like to see you make one.

mlb789 : I've decided I am either going to do Emerald or Sapphire, most likely Emerald. I don't want to do Ruby because it seems that most of the hacks are either FireRed, LeafGreen, or Ruby. I want to do Emerald because it has all 3 legendaries in it. I might make it possible to catch all the pokemon too, but that might make it take even longer. Maybe if I get enough support I will.

Well I was gonna say do emerald but you are already doin it but I might want to be in the game this idea is probably the best I seen my Pokemon team I might as well pm it but I need to know what I'm first so I'm not overpowered or to weak

Oh, I wanna be in it! It'll be great! I call being rival(If that's ok)! I think there should be a game room that has a little mini game and depending on your high score you get certain Pokemon/items. Now that would be great.

zelda2 : While I would make someone the rival, the player names the rival themselves. Sorry :/

Oh yeah, I forgot that I am going to need villains. If anybody wants to be a bad guy, feel free to ask.

metroidhunter72 : can I be the evil villan master guy like Giovanni? That would be AWESOME. Please make my sprite like a team rocket one only long red hair and blue eyes. Team Hyrule would be fine ad our crest would be the Hylian shield. I mean, if its all ok with you, scratch the rival idea. My actual team(so it will be in the game please) is blastoise, shiny flygon, glaceon, roserade,zoroark, and lucario. Thank you!

austipokedude : A admin is someone in between a commander and a grunt, so there is always more than one. Plus I already got dibs on being a admin on Metroids profile.
