VIDEO REQUIRED: You must post a video of yourself accomplishing the score you submit. You must use the RGR Plugin's built in video recording capabilities. You can upload the video to any youtube account but you must add it to the game's page and also post a link to it in this thread.


RULES: You MUST play the game using the RGR Plugin in 'Timetrial Mode' and take a screenshot of your top score from that by pressing F6. To play in 'Timetrial Mode', scroll down the page where the highscores appear, you'll see a link that says 'Click Here to Compete for Highscore', click that. Once you've taken your screenshot, click the link near that one that says 'Click Here to Submit your Score' to submit your score.


TIP: You can use dual analog on this game if you set your right analog (or your right buttons) to be assigned to player 2. It's tricky to get it just right but it's worth the effort. Once done, pick the 2nd controller option for 1st player on the 1 or 2 player screen.

This should be fun. I love Smash TV although if Video was required I wish it would have been the SNES or MAME version of the game ;-) since the controls are a little better on those versions.

Jordanv78 : Already did the SNES version of this game a year ago. I would've done the MAME version if MAME supported high scores.

Davideo7 : Oh It's cool. I totally forgot. I love this game, didn't mean to sound like I was complaining just the controls take a little getting used to in this version because there are only 2 buttons on the NES controller.

Jordanv78 : Yeah that makes it far more challenging. I have Smash TV on my Xbox 360, it's part of a Midway collection I recently got, I might do my practicing on that.

Takioshi Satahi : Your submission wont count if you don't do the video, this helps us to prevent cheating. To record video, all you do is press F8 to start and F8 again to finish. Or you can press the 'Record' button on the play window. Incredibly easy, even a caveman could do it.

This sounds fun. One question though: Can I play in "one player, two controller" mode? Or do I have to play in "one controller" mode?

Davideo7 : Dang someone already topped the high score although I haven't seen his video yet I'm sure he will upload one later.

I just don't have the patience to sit there and keep playing for over an hour straight lol.

I'm pulling out....I've played Super Smash TV on my PS2 game Midway Arcade Treasures which I did pretty bad(most of the game it was just me dying)......So you would probably expect the same thing on the NES version of Smash TV....I didn't even get past 300K of points

Actually I'm not going to post my video until I'm confident that I will stick with a particular run. I don't want to flood the video section with multiple attempts.

I will try this competition. I have never played this game though but might has well try. I need the Viz a lot. 

  Let see if that G .cerea Guy will put a stunt on this one  . This actually looks like a good competition but I m stuck with a keyboard and keyboars are not really excellent for this type of game . So I will not try to compete sorry . keyboard con fig makes the game unbearable

I wish I could try without recording a video, since an error saying that it was not possible to write the AVI file, which other program I could use to record my video?

I am in the same boat as jerry. I have made a run, but don't want to post the videos yet until I am sure it will be what I want to actually stick with. For some reason, my computer split my run into 3 videos, so I would be uploading 3 videos for one submission. That makes me not want to submit my videos until I know I am sticking with it. Otherwise, you will get way too many videos from me with multiple attempts.

rcarter2 : i could have sworen that freemake video converter can join files.  after they are joined you should just need to convert it to avi
