I don't even like being around it during the daytime.  As a child, I was always the first to get bored of the TV.  Now, it's still the same.  My husband insists on having it on 24/7, which is a great bother to me. I can't write, read, or do anything that takes great concentration, while I can hear it running.  Since my husband is the exact opposite, the TV stays on.

I'm such a light sleeper that I used to think I couldn't sleep even with a light on. However, as I got a little older, I discovered how very untrue this is.  I think I could sleep through pretty much anything.... even if the TV was blasting... I'd be able to sleep.

I just think it's a colossal waste of.... time? money? electricity?  TV lifespan?  eardrum?
