Ever since Daisy joined in, I have been choosing her most often, with some occasions going to Waluigi. At least for these days!

In Super Mario Kart SNES, I always loved choosing the Koopa Troopa. In fact, when I was younger, I once got in a fight with a friend of mine because he chose the koopa troopa just because he knew I liked it.

Mario Kart 64 varied a lot. I used to like Yoshi the most, but then discovered how awesome Wario really was, especially how he busts through people. I also like Peach as the heavier lightweight (until they switched that up later). And if these characters were all chosen, I would go with Luigi, as he was always a sturdy customer.

My favorite Mario kart character is Bowser because he's so heavy and you feel powerful (at least in Mario Kart Wii). I just feel like I can push anybody that I want out of my way and when I go to a lighter character I'm so used to the road rage I do with Bowser isn't as fun.

In the older games (SNES, GBA, N64) I enjoyed playing characters like Toad and Mario because they were among the most balanced. Although all characters in the game have their strenghts and weaknesses.

Only one person even mentioned Toad??? Unless I overlooked another vote. Anyway, Toad is my favorite. Probably because of one awesome race I had. I was a good quarter track behind 7th place on Toad's turnpike (Mario Kart 64), and a spectator told me I was out of the race for sure.
NEVER challenge me like that. I don't give up. After they said that, I gave the most impressive performance I've ever managed, and snagged second in that particular race. Almost got first, but I collided with a semi right in front of the finish line. >-<

I have a lot of favorite characters I like to use, here are my favorites for each weight class:

small: toad, that is literally the only small character I use, he is just fast!

medium: luigi, diddy kong, mario and sometimes yoshi.

I raced with daisy once because she is supposed to be the fastest medium character but I didn't see the difference...

large: I use bowser and dry bowser, king boo and funky kong, with flame rider he is awesome, I do really well with him!
