Generation II was my favorite. It had the best starters and the TM's were amazing (ya know, all of the elemental punches). It also introduced two amazing legendaries and two epic moves (sacred fire and aeroblast)

I very much agree with the johto pkmn generation. Excellent TMs, diverse pkmn, and the pkmn gave better battles. by that i mean, it wasnt just about "AttacK" as it is now. Many pkmn were stallers and tanks, with a good amount of attackers, all providing for a balanced team going on offense and defense (with use if stall).

Nothing beats the original Generation, that's the most recognized and has by far the coolest Pokemon. Plus that's the one that holds all my child hood memories. I like most of the Pokemon since than but some just seem to be a little, I don't know, crappy.

I like gen II Johto was a much better place in my opion

I kinda dissagree with David. I think it got crappy during R/S and the show started sucking in Hohan or how ever its spelled

In Kanto it was gym battles and kanto the whole way through same with johto Hohan bored me with may and the "contests" then it was hard to keep track of what happend in what episode. Unlike Kanto and Johto you could remember what happend last week on the last episode. Now its just to confuseing.

Gen I and Gen II are without the best to be honest it all got kind of confusing after that in relation to the amount of Pokemon there was i liked the idea of knowing all the pokemon and not having it be ridiculious to catch them all.
