Sorry but the cost of owning a server can really ad up and for as long as I've owned Vizzed Board, I've never made any money off the site but I'm sorta forced to place a few ads in order to make a little bit of money to pay for the Vizzed Server.

I noticed the ads. Figured it was because of the cost of the server. Maybe if/when you get a new computer, your current one can be the server of Vizzed. Free hosting.

I have no problem with ads as long as I'm not required to click em. If it helps pay for things then bring em on. And as long as the ads aren't for anything annoying.

I know because of talking to DM. That's how. I agree with Guff though, a few seconds longer to load(because of the ads) isn't a bad thing, as long as Vizzed is alive.

The ads aren't bad, they're well managed and in places that don't seem inconvenient. Could be worse and we would have some scrolling ads that follow us everywhere or the ones that pop up mid page and take away the scroll bar so you gotta use the arrow keys to scroll up and close it. Hell lets make it worse and make the ad a redirect page so when you click the back button you find out the page over stepped the page you wanted to go to so you gotta either type the site or click another button.
Point is could be much worse, but you could always start up a donate system i wouldn't mind pitching in a buck or two every now and then.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
