The NFL is in the playoffs and the Super Bowl will be soon so I figured this would be the perfect time to hold a Tecmo Super Bowl Netplay Tournament. We'll be playing the Tecmo Super Bowl 2013 (TecmoBowl.org hack) version of the game.

Each user will play 4 games of "regular" season and the teams with the best record will advance to a playoffs. Depending on how many people enter this tournament, the playoffs will be 3-5 games. When 2 users are paired up to play against each other, they have 2 days to play against each other.

If this tournament goes well, than I'll make it a habit of holding a netplay tournament every month and various games.


Requirements:
-You must live in the United States (unless you've have had very little lag problems playing netplay with USA users)
-The RGR Plugin must work fine on your computer, especially for NES and Netplay games (since that's what we'll be using)


Prizes:
1st = 10,000 Viz
2nd = 2,500 Viz
3rd = 1,000 Viz


If you want to enter, simply respond to this thread saying that you want to enter. The tournament will most likely begin next Monday.

Any idea on a tentative date on when you were thinking of starting this tourney? I know its hard to set things in stone not knowing who all will compete but at least if I had a rough idea I could make sure I had free time to compete.
