I'm sorry but something about Earthbound has stuck with me. I've played both games but I gave up on Mother after a while. Not to sure what it was exactly but Earthbound just feels better to me.

If there was a choice on the poll, I'd choose neither. They both look great on their own and honestly don't need to be remade into 3-D, but if I was forced to choose, then I guess I'd go with Earthbound.

I actually think they should remake the first one. I really love the first one, but many people find it unplayable because it is a NES game. I think if they remade it, they could fix some things that turned people away such as not knowing what to do, grinding, and random encounters.

Hard choice... I'll go with Mother 3 though, even though it was only released in Japan. Mother 3 had a better & touching story to me, and it literally made me cry. Also, status ailments in Mother 3 were less annoying . =P

I personally would like to see a 3d remake of earthbound. Mother three was a good game and all, but I enjoyed earthbound better. Mother 3 was too hard for me. Both mother 3 and earthbound were easy to get into, witty and funny commentary, and a challenge at appropriate times. I liked the music especially of both. But I just liked earthbound better, I guess. Although I'd buy either/both if they really did get remade. But that's never going to happen...
