I don't have any major restaurants in my town where I live, only small ones. I do like Golden Corral and a place called Super Wok. And I also like a place called PJ's. PJ's is the only good place in town to eat at, while the others are about 45 minutes away from where I live.

I really like this place called Rain Forest Café, but we do not have any here on Oahu. I really love this place called Jamba Juice. I be going to mall just so I can have a smoothie, that is how good their smoothies are. I really like Arby's French Dip Sub too, but that is hard as heck to find.

"The Outback Steak house."
Honestly.
I have met more Brilliant College "Co-Eds" from this one place that's a chain store (of all things) than any other establishment.
The Women are Great. The Dudes watch Sports. And the Bartenders actually talk like "McCoy" From "Star Trek" From Time to time.
A Real Man's Haven as far as I'm Concerned.
They actually figured out a way to make onions a DISH aside from breading them up in RING form and slapping a price-tag on it and calling it a $10.00+ item on the menue.
I love that place.
The real home-town place I miss?
"The Lone Star Steak House" in Goldsboro N.C.
The Girls Know How To Cook as well as Deliver A Good "Haymaker" Punch too.
Food in there is not too bad either.
I like allot of Pizza Joints that are not too up-scale as to ask for 20 bucks on any Item they have. But not so out of it that the crew asks what kind of car you drive.
Simple home away from from joints are great places to catch a bite as far as I am concerned.
"Nikkos" in San Bernardino C.A. is a good eating place as far as I'm concerned.
Good Burgers and decent side dishes that can fill a person up is what I consider a good "eat house."
Food Rocks and So Should You.
"You have to eat for the rest of your life. So eat well."
It was said by a famous person once.
I think it is great wisdom.
That's it. I'm Done.
Stick a fork in me.
Good Luck To All.
Peace.

I know I already replied to this, but OMG I have just eaten at the BEST RESTAURANT OF ALL TIME.!

(Sorry but I'm just really excited.)

It's this new place that just opened up in my town. I think it's not a chain, I'm pretty sure it's a local joint. I'm not going to say the name because I don't want people to search for it and go, Oh, that's where Thud lives! (><)

But. It's a Japanese sushi-bar and grill. I know there's a million of those, but this one is different. For one thing, it's NOT JAPANESE THEMED. No crazy Japanese paintings, no bamboo, no big fish tanks. Just a lovely, clean, modern looking place with lots of light and comfortable chairs. You can sit right at the sushi bar and tell the chef what you want and he'll whip you up a lovely pile of sushi to order. That means you don't have to order a specific kind; I love sushi but I hate roe of any kind, so he left them out for me. And once he figures out what you like, he makes suggestions tailored to you. There's always about four chefs, each working from their own little stocked area, so you almost always can have the chef's attention.

And for people who don't like Sushi (like my cousin who I took with me) they have lovely, delicious authentic Japanese food just like my grandmother used to make. My cousin didn't have any idea about what to order, and the waitress (who was not Japanese, by the way) asked her about twenty questions as to what kind of things she liked. I was busy stuffing my face with the heavenly sushi and didn't catch the name of what she ended up with, but it was some kind of beef stir fry that looked delicious. (She wouldn't share a bite with me).

I personally don't have a one single favorite restaurant. I cut out Fast food years ago and refuse to eat that garbage anymore, and I don't usually give business to big chain restaurants unless work travel forces me to (Think Olive Garden)

Living in Chicago there are so many great restaurants it's hard to list all the ones I frequent.

I will say that me and my GF love to try new and great sushi restaurants so the ones we go to most often would probably be a sushi restaurant.
