Before, Freddy Krueger came and attacked me.

I know this saounds a bit weird but it was about hundreds of possessed hurricanes that were hunting down and killing all humans it don't sound that scary but I was nine at the time. Other than this I had one where a group of assassins were after me and that is about it.

i don't remember. i think it was something about a horror movie with me being a cute little puppy, and an alligator and a creepy doll were trying to kill me in a swamp where i was swimming

As u just posted in a different thread, I had night terrors as a kid. One of the dreams that scared me the most was one where I had no idea I was asleep, even though many of the terrors I had were like this, this dream was the worst. It was so vivid. The same song I was listening to on the radio was on, and everything in my room looked the same. I noticed that moste of my sheets had fallen off the bed, and when I tried to get them back up because I was cold, I noticed something was holding it back. I stood up on my bed to try to turn on the light and suddenly "it" grabbed me and dragged me under the dresser. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't scream until after a couple seconds I heard a blood curdling scream that suddenly woke me up, I sat on the couch for hours, I didn't go to sleep again that night or the next.

I had nightmares of zombies trying to attack me , it was really scary when I was young but now its not scary at all , now it kind of awesome .

Once I dreamt that I flew out of airplane straight through the Seattle Space Needle, Splitting me in half. (Keep in mind that I'm afraid of heights and sometimes hyper-realistic gore).

My worst nightmare was having to run away from someone.

My worst nightmare was very strange and complicated so let me start during the night something happened that made these evil creatures related to the ones in the night stages in sonic unleash appeared during the night in the morning I woke up because of a earthquake shook me off my bed I take a peek out of the window to find the monsters putting chains on my mother and father I sneak through the back window to find a giant meteorite which explains how they got here on earth I jump a fence to find them looking at me I run away and hide in a empty house I then head toward a forest to find food and water then I head out of the forest to be ambush I run and run till Iam on top of a cliff they put me in chains and take me to a wall and they atempt to hang me but my dad saves me then me and my dad run toward the woods I make it safely but I see a arrow come out of nowhere and hits my dad right through his heart that's pretty much all I woke up after that it was a terrible dream I loss a family member because of carelessness that's my worst dream when I dream my dad died in my sight that's pretty much all 

My worst nightmare was about a police officer chasing me down a city road. I wasn't in my body though I was watching myself running from him. He had a gun and I was under the intentions that he wanted me dead for some reason. I got to a dead end and he came up to me pointed his gun at my head and I woke up just as he pulled the trigger. I have been developing a fear of police officers since I had the nightmare a few years ago.

This may sound weird but I have had a reoccurring nightmare for the past 15 years of my life. The situation is always different but always involves this large stone castle courtyard, a dining room within the castle and a set of old railroad tracks near the building. I can remember those three parts in several dreams I have had in the past years. Does anyone else have the re-occurring dream thing goin on?

I usually enjoy zombie dreams but I had a dream where my wife and I were in a town that was being taken over by zombies.  They were moving in from one end of the town and we were escaping to another.  We were in a building with two floors and a ladder went to a window which lead to a roof.  We both had knives but there were a ton of zombies and they were impossible to fight.  I somehow made it up the ladder, leading my wife to escape and she fell.  The ladder broke and she was on the ground floor.  It was too far to jump or help her up.  She knew she had to go around the other way and she looked at me and said, "See you over there, I'll be fine."

I knew she wouldn't be fine, even though we were ahead of the zombies.  She moved off and the rest of the dream I didn't see her again.  That feeling of helplessness and sadness that swept over me still leaves some emotion even now.  I had that dream years ago and it still affects me.

Safe to say, I snuggled extra close to her that night when I woke up.

My worst dream as a child was probably when I was tied to a post and stabbed by a bunch of cloaked men. Another dream I had was when I was sitting in bed or maybe a chair and three cloaked women were stabbing me in the torso. The weirdest part is I could feel them stabbing me in both dreams. Even after I woke up my abdomen would be doing spasms or something.
I don't have nightmares anymore, mostly because I'm not afraid of the things I used to be afraid of and the mix adrenaline and boredom in real life, along with maybe a little masochism too, in my more frightening dreams actually makes me enjoy them in the end.

I had this one recurring dream when I was 5 or 6, where I was in a wooden house, presumably in the attic, and was laying in a bed. I couldn't move for some reason, and was sitting there all alone. All the sudden, I hear footsteps creeping through the house. They are soft at first, and start to get louder and louder. I know that the footsteps bring my death, or something like that. All the sudden, all the things that always scared me come through the window. They stand there and are like "we're sorry" in a ghastly voice. They then disappear, and the door starts to creep open, and I would wake up all sweaty and freaked out.

I had a horrible dream I finally met my biological father which seems amazing, but instead he went insane and killed my mother and sister and I leaped for the gun on the floor to shoot myself so I could "be with them" and instead he stomped on my hand as I reached the gun on the floor and with his other on my left thigh, which is extremely weak. Then he put me in a basement he spent time perfecting for years after he left my family and was inescapable, and no way to kill yourself. The only way out was either starvation, dehydration, or old age. And he intended me to die of a old age.... With years of torture.

The worst nightmare I ever had was when I was about 10 or 11 and I dreamed  my family had all turned into vampires and my own mom killed me and I watched as she started eating my flesh.

I have had a lot of strange nightmares. There was one were I had to stab my friend to death though. It was pretty bad. There was another one were my brother was kid napped and I couldn't find my parents, and yet again, I had to kill to save him. Blood feels real in dreams : /
