Well, since we're going by first Pokémon you "caught" and not first Pokémon you had... I'd have to say the very first Pokémon I ever caught was in Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Version and the Pokémon was "Metapod". I think, to be honest... I only wanted that Pokémon cause I really wanted a Butterfree.

XD, I got a Poochyena on Pokemon Ruby. I trained it so much, it evolved at route 2! Lol. My torchic was level 6 when I was at the 3rd gym, so basically I went on with my adventure with Mightyena.

That's going back a while but I would have to say it was a Pidgey on route 1 in Red. Wow had completely forgot that until now, started thinking along the lines of the Anime thinking it was a Caterpie but just remembered how much I loved that bird
