i may be wrong but i think mewtwo is the strongest 

I think tyranitar is pretty strong, I mean it has 403 for its attack stat and it has some really great moves as well, like earthquake, crunch and it can also learn rock slide, giga impact and hyper beam which are all really strong moves by level up. I think it is a really great Pokémon that is non legendary and it has great stats and is really powerful. I had one in black and white and it was great. Overall I think it is a very powerful Pokémon with great stats and moves that it can learn.


Some Pokémon are way overrated *cough cough charizard couch cough* and honestly they  really aren't that great but I think tyranitar is just strong and awesome!

mewtwo or palkia... hmm hard question maybe blazikan. He can beat a lot of pokemon with flamethrower or overheat but you have to to teach him that in pokemon emerald. he can 1 hit a pokemon like mewtwo but he has to do his best move to do that..... i don't know this is hard for now I choose blazikan. 

What's the strongest Pokemon?, Well in my opinion the strongest Pokemon is Arcues because it can learn any move from any type, and its stats are higher than most Pokemon and it can be any type so it will for the most part always have the type advantage over other Pokemon.

I think Arceus is the strongest pokemon because it created all pokemon and if it dies, so does the other pokemon. Wadya think ?

now see, askin for the "strongest" pokemon and askin for the "best" pokemon are two different things.  According to my research, Arceus is the "strongest" pokemon stat-wise.  The "best" pokemon is based on preference, its different for a lot of people.  I personally prefer Tyranitar or Aggron cuz they pack a punch and have a large move pool.

I think Magikarp is by far the strongest pokemon in th universe. tag battle together with feebas..and you can splash the living sh1t out of anything =D
No but seriously now.
I do not think legendary pokemon should be in this list at the first place.
Ofcourse, legendary pokemon are always strong. that why they are called : "LEGENDERY".
So. I'm going to pick some Random pokemon who are actually pretty strong without noticing it to much.
This is not going to be a top list. Just random.

Gengar:
type: Ghost-Poison
Ability: Levitate ( TAKE THAT DAMN DARN GROUND TYP MOVES!)
Base stats:
HP: 60, ATK: 65, DEF: 60, SP.ATK: 130, SP.DEF:75, SPD: 110.
Now. Gengar I think is for most of us a must have in pokemon gold and silver ( Atleast for me. I always ended up with my team using either haunter, or gengar)
So, why actually would Gengar be a "Best/strongest"Pokemon?
One short name: DPT( Also known as the short name of the ingame term of a attack or spell effect : Damage Per Turn)
Now, I think not everyone here gets what i'm talking about but well lets take a look at some BADASS moves from gengar's what can I learn book:
Hypnossis: As what we people know. Ghastly got hypnossis at like the VERY beginning of his training. ( atleast, if you caught it at around lv 5-10) Otherwise it would been replaced for some kind of other move because npc's are to stupid.
Hypnossis itself is not that great of a move.. it has 70 accuracy. So, it does not always hit.
But. Hypnossis besides that is really useful to take on slower enemies. You'll attack first, adept sleeping status, BAM oponent sleeping.
Now we are going to have some fun.
nightmare : I don't believe much people use this move since darkrai got this move as its OWWNN Ability. How overpowered is that....
So, Nightmare is a DPT Ghost like move that damage your oponent for like 1/4 damage of your oponent's total hp. that doesn't look great?
Wait until you met on puttin you in sleep for FIVE long taking sleep turns.. being tormented by the move. You'll probly not going to survive it.. *R.I.P*
Curse: Oh, now that is one killing move for like ALL Ghost type pokemon in the pokemon universe. I personally didn't like this move when I played pokemon ruby on my gba as a little kid. It offers half of your own hp do to DPT damage to your oponent.
So, what actually is good about Curse anyways? Well.. Did you know Curse takes the equal amount of damage as nightmare?
Combine it. and your oponent lose 2 times 1/4 damage. I'm not a calculator so i'm just going to tell that is 2/4 damage DPT damage.
So, now think of it. Your pokemon is sleeping, for 3-4 turns.. it got a curse on it.. AND a nightmare.
Lol, your pokemon is suffering from the inside while you're yelling at your pokemon to not be a total waste of time lazy piece of thrash.
Well actualy. Your pokemon is a bit of a total waste is such kind of state.. It won't survive it for 3-5 turns.
Now the final move guys
Dream Eater: Ah, Dream Eater One of my all time favorite psychic moves. Strong, good accuracy, good amount of PP and it drain hp..
curse, halving hp. Dream Eater draining it back...... that sounds like a great idea!
While your pokemon is suffer great tormenting your pokemon also suffered some damage. Well? Why not just drain your oponent's hp to recover back? Well. That is actually the main purpose of Dream Eater. Draining hp. Just like Giga Drain but, since Giga drains Sucks for eternalty with just 5 pp and 60 power. Dream Eater actually got 100 power, 100 accuracy, and 15 PP. So, why exactly wasting 1 space out of 4 moves for gengar to teach it Giga Drain. While Its able to learn Dream Eater? I mean: Come on guys, a little bit of decent logic please.

In my opinion this kind of DPT strategy is really useful. Since you cannot count on gengar's defensive abilities. you better quickly kill your oponent before they killing you right? The complete basic of pokemon: sweeping your oponent's team as fast as possible.

Breloom
Type:Grass-Fighting
Base stats:
HP: 60, ATK: 120, DEF:80 SP.ATK: 60, SP.DEF: 60, SPD: 70
Ability: Effect Spore Or Poison Heal
I think we all know Breloom of one of the most classic sweepers in the third generations of games.
Well guess what? this pokemon also puts your useless pokemon to sleep! Fun to know right!?
As I said. Breloom is a sweeper. You want to wipe off your oponent's team as fast as possible.
Well, here you got a moveset? that actually wipes like simpely EVERYTHING on your way to victory
Sword dance: A all time classic for sweepers among us. Not only it has a fency looking animation, It also provides TWO Attack points.
Spore: Breloom doens't learn Spore naturally. But shroomish does! Spore is the best sleeping move out there.. It has 100 accuracy. So, sure to hit. And so it is really usefull
Leech Seed: Well that is a suprise don't you think? Leech Seed was always WAY OP in the anime like: bulbasaur used one Leech Seed and the oponent drops dead like it's soul gotten drained up or something.. Well, Leech Seed actually is that kind of monsterious. It leeches bits, of bits of hp each turn (DPT=D) the amount of p drained is depended on the total HP of your oponent's pokemon IF I'm correct.
Focus Punch: FINALY! We got to the last but most usefull move just right about now. Focus punch is kind of useless.. 150 power, 100 accuracy, 20 PP. BUT. If you get hit by your oponent your pokemon FLINTCHS OUT! Want kind of total waste of a turn is that!? Well guys, don't panic. We got spore on our side! And not to mention Sword dance. This deadly combination will K.O For sure any pokemon you encounter. (Besides ghost pokemon. Ghost pokemon decided to be "Special" not to be able to be hit by a figting move unless you use foresight or any other kind of that move). Focus punch is already OP if you get it by it. Combine it with sword dance to max your power. and spore to put your oponent to sleep. You'll Focus punch them from mars to jupiter! (wait, not funny?)

Well, This post is getting WAAAAAYY To long.. so let's go to the last and final one
TYROGUE! my personal favorite.
I'm not going to ingame review it because we all know Tyrogue's base stat SUUUCCK...
Do you remember that Episode when tyrogue Ko'd Both Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan? Well... That Episode mades my disission. Tyrogue is my favorite pokemon. And for me, in the anime. That was on of the best perfomance of a baby pokemon EVER!
So screw Arceus while? tyrogue just headbutts the hell out of acreus =3.

Well... If you go to the theory of pokemon and look to stats..
Then I guess that sucker of a Arceus is indeed the best.
If you look up to the movies. Lugia is pretty much the best fighting against the 3 bird pokemon all by his own.
If you look at the purpose of Mewtwo in the whole pokemon idea of being the"Strongest" pokemon. Then Mewtwo sould be the strongest
Again: Considered from the movies, Darkrai taking on both palkia and dialga. Darkrai also get it's place for me.
And same goes for Mew who is taking on Mewtwo. Who suposed to be the "Strongest" pokemon..
But, we all know in the matter of defence. Ash ketchum is the strongest! Taking on both the attacks of Mew and Mewtwo. and surviving Charizard's flamethhrower EVERY SINGLE TIME!

The strongest Pokémon is either ditto or arcues because ditto can change in to arcues and arcues created them all

Arcues, it is not what I think, it is what I know. But, I THINK that Deoxys is the strongest.

The strongest Pokémon in my opinion is magnezone. You may be wondering why, well I'll tell you why. Magnezone has the most resistances than any other Pokémon and the only type that normally affects magnezone is water type which he can easily swept away with a thunderbolt. However, he does have a 4x weakness to ground. To fix that just teach it magnet rise which makes ground types not affect it at all. So that just leaves fire and fighting. Magnezone has a lot of defense so it could wall a couple of hits from a fighting type. Just EV train it in speed and special def. and you have to perfect powerful special attacker with plenty of defenses. I hope this comment made you want to pick up a magnemite in your next play through of a Pokémon game because he really is an awesome Pokémon.

I don't want to a a total dick but..
magnezone actually got a FOUR times weakness against ground type moves.
And 2 times weakness against both fire and fighting.
Though magnezone's defence has a base of 115.. I might be lucky enough to survive a earthquake attack...
But, his special defence although being 90 will merely be enough to survive a flamethrower.
You pretty much OVERestimeted magnezone..
Sure, electric and steel type got ALOT of resistances.. But, If you look at kingdra with only a weakness to dragon type moves would be WAY more resistance then magnezone would ever be,
also, kingdra's sp.def and def are both 95. So, that is actually pretty good if you train him in on of those stats..
Take a look to spiritomb. In the matter of resistances. He would be the best choice. with both a defence and special defence of 108. It had the most resistance to me.
Although the sixth gen of game screwed that up with making a fairy type..
I can barely hold my breath thinking of tinkerbel being a pokemon.. HAHA xD.
I think a pokemon like metagross, tyranitar could be considered best is stats besides legndery pokemon.
Slaking is also beast.. Oh Boy... To bad he has the most lamest ability ever.. TRAUNT!...

I think that the strongest Pokemon in my case would have to be the dragon and fire Pokemon of Rayquaza since he is fast and it also has really epic moves that can knock out almost and any type of Pokemon that tries to challenge the one and only epic pokemon that makes the ground tremble and the air orange and red with the flames from the dragon of Rayquaza.

I don't think there is one strong Pokemon, really. Except for a really high powered Rayquaza of course.
