I liked I when I played Diamond when I was 7 then I was 10 and got Heartgold and played the crap out of it and beat it in 5 months
But now I just don't find pokemon all that fun anymore don't get me wrong I love playing them but they just seem to be getting boring cause now when I play one I can get the games complete in a week when they used to take me months

I like Pokémon, yes I do. Sure, it is a nice RPG for young kids to grow up and understand the basis of RPG games. I am not a fanatic however...I don't adore Pokémon. 

I play some Pokémon games in moderation...if I play several at a time, it gets much less cultivating and I grow bored.

I am kind of growing away from Pokémon just a tad because I have played the games many times and am growing bored now...yes X and Y are coming out, but I am in no rush to get it, much less play it.

I guess I consider myself a die hard Pokemon fan sometimes but I will admit a lot of the games in the series have gotten extremely boring. I mean there's no main storyline all you do is defeat all eight gyms go to the league and then become the champion only to roam around. Of course you have to defeat the main villains while protecting the world from their plans that always seem to go wrong in some way shape or form but that really gets boring sometimes. Its really just gotten to the point where I have turned to fan made games. While some aren't as great as the main series some are above and beyond and its great to see what Gamefreak could have done with their games but haven't. So yes I love Pokemon but sometimes the main series gets annoying.

I have a love hate thing going on with Pokemon. I only love the first 3 Gens of it and hate the rest. I just feel Pokemon has lost its edge when they decided to make Gen IV and up.
