Pokémon is NOT for little kids! :O I'm 13 and I still play it. Well, I see how some people might think it's for kids.Cute critters, check. I don't HATE Pokemon. I had a good time playing the earlier titles on the Gameboy. I just got burnt out on them quickly because I started playing RPG's with more depth.

Pokemon is a fine game, but it's basically a starter game to get people into playing RPG's in my honest opinion. Walk around, catch Pokemon and level grind them to beat a boss. Just like any other JRPG only with a more shallow story. (Generally speaking)

I like the Pokémon games. I wouldn't really say it is for little kids; if you like a game because it is fun, play it. It doesn't matter how old you are. But it's fact that the target group are kids. The old school games for the Gameboy were just cool. Fresh new ideas for a video game, that's why it became such an extremely popular series, I think.

However I don't like the anime. When I was younger, I did. But it became boring after the time and the games were more interesting because of its rpg elements and it is challenging to collect as much as you can. Sadly, the games are not as good as they were, too, maybe because of the always same story and gameplay. It's not new anymore. But I still like to play it, just because of the collecting aspect. ^^

i love pokemon a lot, exept now. the animé is terrible, the pokemon look terrible, the games are not bad, but this all started after gen 3. although some the lucario and mystery of mew movie was pretty good.

I enjoy playing Pokémon very much. I don't think it is a game just for kids! Do to its strategic game play and the ability of gamers to battle with one another makes it even more fun. I think that because of the characters being so young and the Pokémon looking more like animated stuff animals (so to speak) I can see why it isn't mature. Nothing dies, nor is there any gore in the games, but for me this makes it all the more enjoyable to play where ever I am without offending anyone, also I can play this with my children!
