If you try the Mednafen emulator from link in the top left of the play window, this game might be fixed....

Clare749 : Well, I played exclusively on the Mednafen because I read about the problems on the other emulator.  But I think any files from the other emulator don't transfer to the Mednafen (someone correct me if I'm wrong).  You might just have to start over on Mednafen.
