If you could own an arcade but were limited to only fifteen games, which ones would you pick? The point of this thread isn't to talk about actually owning an arcade, but to point out your personal favorite arcade games.


Here's my list, in no particular order:

Not all of these are arcade games but here are some.

and yeah, that's about all i can think of, I haven't been to a video game arcade in years.
Although I win at the non video game arcades (if you meet one of my friends, ask them, I am an arcade monster)

That's all I can think of. Not sure if the basketball one even counts, but I put it there because I can't think of any other good ones.

1 "Cruising USA".
2 "Area 51".
3 "After-burn".
4 "Crazy Taxi".
5 "Snipers Scope". (I think that's the name. Its got a choice of two characters to choose from. One named Wolf.)
6 "D.O.A.". (Latest coin-op instalment.)
7 "Strider". (Latest or first.)
8 "Quiz and Dragons".
9 "Capcom vs....". (Any of them. I Want Marvel Vs Capcom2, but all of them Rock. S.N.K., X-Men. I love them all)
10 "Time Crisis". (Any of them.)
11 "Star Wars X-Wing Simulator".
12 "Metal Slug". (Any of them.)
13 "Street Fighter". (Any of them but the first one. I love "Super S.F.2", But "S.F.3" is so sweet.)
14 "King Of Fighters".(I love "94" but any will do.)
15 Any Beat-em-up game. (Different towns call for different genres. Ninja Turtles or X-Men are popular hits. The Simpsons is not well known but may be better accepted. King of Dragons and Final Fight are my taste but Combatribes or Streets of Rage may fit better for the town its in.
Knights of the Round is great for traditional crowds. Aliens vs Predator(Coin-Op not S.N.E.S.) works on a college campus. Its all about Location Location Location.

Whoever wants to join my arcade must first pay...you can do this by yelling "Hissatsu Ougi! Final Meow Kick!",and then kicking the nearest bypasser,and rob him/her of his/her money.Do you know why?Because it costs OVER 9000!!!! dollars in order to buy a single coin.And if you lose,you must give-me "Insert outrageous amount of money here" to buy another coin.Seems fair enough,right?
