Mine would have to be Lance from Pokémon R/B/Y. He is an extremely tough trainer and keeps you on your toes with powerful dragon Pokémon. It is a very intense fight, I love it.

My favorite Elitle 4 member is Bruno, again he looks like a complete bad ass but in the anime they pass him off as pretty much a over hyped trainer. Regardless I still love the fact that he captured one of the worlds biggest onixs and his rock Pokemon were actually easy for me to get passed in the game since I had a Blastoise.

this is a easy one for me since i have to say lance for two reasons. first he gave me my most saddest lost in pokemon history i had just made it to the elite four and was just clearing thought them but lance stopped it all he wiped though my team and did not even have a hard time doing so but with my starter i got past 5 of his pokemon and was faced with dragonite he owned me hard with one hyper beam and almost killed me completely. i never for got that lost ever. secondly he just seems so cool with his hair and mystery to him you just want to learn everything about him but you can not, finally he was the champion of the first 2 generation not once but twice after losing in kanto he got better went to johto and beat the champion there to regain his champion stats epic
