Before i go onto the topic at hand i just want to point out that i think this is a great site, above board and run within the law.

But i have to bring something to your attention regarding something thats being advertised here.

The advert that is headed "Tip for a Flat belly" which is advertising a dual product weight loss system is widely regarded as a Scam. Customers have reported lack of recieving any products, being grossly overcharged and having to deal with very rude customer service representitives.

Please feel free to make your own judgement. Anyone with half a brain can see that it is a Scam with the "free" trial offer yet you "only" pay shipping??

Just thought id bring this up. Id hate for anything to smear the good reputation this site is no doubt building.

So you're saying that the site you are talking about is being advertised on the site? Hm. Talk about being blunt on being a scam.

Pro-Tip.

A large majority of ads on the internet are scams.

That's why you don't click them.

Vizzed uses advertising from companies like google adsense to gain revenue to keep the site running.
Unfortunately a lot of the ads provided are scams, just like Leggy says.
There isnt any real way to pick and choose what ads to display, honestly if David went through and removed all the ads that were scams there would really only be maybe 2 ads on Vizzed and he'd make no money.
So again like Leggy said, dont click on ads you see on the internet.
Or even better, install a program like AdBlock Plus and you wont ever see an ad again.

But if you block the ads from Vizzed, then it negatively affects Vizzed. I leave Vizzed excluded and just ignore them.

Yeah if it wasn't for ads, Vizzed wouldn't be able to survive because the donations definitely don't cover the server fees, bandwidth charges, plugin updates, etc.

Razer69 : Where did you see the ad? Was it a full page ad? The more info you give me, the easier it is for me to block the ad.

Davideo7 : I've seen the type of ad he mentioned before, it's just one of those innocuous little ads that appears in the banner at the top or bottom of the pages, nothing major to worry about.
There's not really any point in blocking or removing it otherwise you'll just have to end up blocking 90% of the ads if you go after every one that's a scam :/

I appreciate the need for advertising on websites I just thought I would bring it to your attention. Maybe in future I could do it privately but I'm quite Green here (I believe this will be my 9th post) lol so I wasn't sure if that is possible.

I just wanted to make sure nothing bad would come back onto this site that's all.

Instead of complaining about the ad and blocking it from vizzed just smile and know their money is being drained each time you view a page or when someone clicks it.
