This month's Speed Run competition is for 'Super Mario Bros 3' for the Nintendo. You can play it here:

Yay, Mario again.  A word of warning though, speedrunning this game has a high element of luck involved in World 8.  You have to hope the hand things on the map don't grab you into their levels.

I might try to record my run if I ever get fast enough at this one.

Finally, a pretty good Speed Run challenge for me! I used to always try and beat it as fast as possible not only when I had my NES, but on my Wii too. I'll definitely be able to get at least close to, if not in, the top 3 this month (Later in the month), Nya~. :3

Finally got a decent run. Got me 3rd place. I don't anticipate having enough time to get another speed run in. Every time I think I have an opportunity, my dogs have to go out, they beg for attention, my wife needs a favor, or some other random thing happens that I have to get up for a minute. It would be pretty nice if clicking outside of the screen paused the timer too so I could get a solid run even if I get interrupted. Oh well.
