I was wondering what is the best game that you have brought in 2012 for any gaming platform

Mine is SSBB, which I never got, because I only played the original on Vizzed, but I love the one on Wii even more, which is hard to do.

It's not a game I bought but the best game I've played was one that my friend bought. It's called NBA 2K13. The graphics are amazing on the PS3 and I loved every thing about the gameplay, from the shooting to dribbling to iso movements. everything about that game, to me at least, is pretty much perfect.

dead island. I got it really cheap months ago. It wasnt great but they fixed it so online works now. Its great in co-op. Im aproaching top rank now though, so il either start with a different character or get bored. The latter probably...

I think one of the best games I bought this year was probably an indie PC game called Fortune Summoners. It's a really neat little game and a ton of fun. I got a lot of value for my money since I enjoyed it more than most of the big commercial console games that run you $60 (I think this was only about $20).

The console purchase I'm most satisfied with this year is Persona 4: Arena. That game is just beyond awesome if you're a fan of both fighting games and Persona 4. A rare mix, but I happen to love both things, so I loved this game even more. I most have done some 300+ online battles in the first month of having it.

Best game I bought in 2012......Dead Island (have a zombie fetish and reminds me to get back to the game I got stuck), I can't remember if it was this year or 2011 but.....Bulletstorm was AWESOME.  Also, FIFA 12 and now FIFA 13.  Dead Space 2 was totally bad*** too.

I actually bought a lot of games in 2012 but if I had to choose it would either be Garry's Mod or Planetside 2. Both great games and both drastically different.

For me, it would have to be Left 4 Dead 2. I got it for $5 on the Steam Halloween Sale, and I must say, for me it is the definitive Zombie-Survival game. It has a lot of helpful mechanics, lots of content and game modes, isn't to unfair but still difficult (Which a lot of games I find now are lacking in) and all around fun to play and experiment with the weapons.

I know one thing mw3 was so not a good game but if were to say the best game I ever bought in 2012 so far is syndicate amazing graphics and game play on pc and best skrillex and Nero soundtrack EVAR the best that I'm GOING to get for 2012 is halo 4 hands down epic game.

My is dead inland it had good story to it and had a lot of missions in it and i like how it was free roaming.

I bought about 70-80 games this year. (I am a collector.) I started to choose my favorite ones but then I started listing them all off so I will just say that I play way to many to pick. But in an attempt to answer the question, I am really excited about Call of Duty: black Ops 2 next week!

I've bought about 4 or 5 this year, since I don't have the money to really build on my retro gaming collection (yet!) For me, it's Double Dragon Neon.
Everything about Neon screams "80's throwback", from the flashy visuals, to the soundtrack (some arranged tracks from the first two games!), and even the character design and dialogue. Not to mention the co-op, which is really what Double Dragon was always about (with some exceptions.) It makes use of a couple features that are useless in single-player, like the High-Fives and the ability to go prone so your partner can push enemies over you and knock them down.
The game may come off as a bit simplistic, being a beat-em-up. The games does manage to add depth and variety with the Mix Tape system, granting different special attacks and stat changes. The game manages to add this extra depth without making it too complex. So you get your old-school beat-em-up action, but with enough depth to make the game fun. Even if is a tad simplistic, the comparative simplicity of Neon to other games of this era may also fit with the 80's-retro theme.
All in all, best $10 I've spent this year. I highly recommend Double Dragon Neon to anyone looking for a good ol' fashioned game with an entertaining (if somewhat ridiculous) 80's motif.

ReZa : I got that game and am stuck on it lol I have enjoyed it thus far though and am looking forward to continue playing it. The storyline is just awesome so far and I truly can't wait to see how it unfolds. :3

For games that came out this year that I bought, I'd say Resident Evil: Revelations. Such an awesome experience on a 3DS. For games that didn't come out this year, I bought Metroid Prime 3: Corruption at Gamestop and it's proven to be awesome.

Sadly it was battlefield 3 premium...just because I got all the perks for 60 bucks...
