Hey, everyone! I want to ask a question. Do you think that some Pokémon should have a 3rd type? Like Charizard being a Fire/Fly/Dragon Pokémon, or Gyrados being a Water/Flying/Dragon Pokémon (these are examples. I wouldn't change these Pokémon). It could add more combinations, but would make there some 3x weaknesses and strengths. So what do you think?

Correction : Charizard isn't a dragon type . He can just learn dragon type moves !

I think it's kind of dumb. Having a Pokemon with two types seems like enough. There are Pokemon that learn a lot of different sorts of movies and it would be tedious to have a Pokemon that's 3 different types.

I guess it's not a SUPER bad idea but it just seems unnecessary.

that would be pretty cool but he does have a point there would be even less moves u could keep if theyre were 3 types u can only keep 4 moves at a time u would have to make tough decisions on what moves on your attack set u would want to keep.

There are some Pokémon, like Gyarados (or however you spell it), who have a type that doesn't make any sense; how is he a flying type? Last I checked, he doesn't fly and he doesn't look like someone you would classify as a flying type, so it leaves me confused.

That, and it makes an opening for 8x damage without critical hits or items or STAB or anything like  that, which is kind of bad and would make that Pokémon far less desirable.

I think it would be easier to give moves a second type.  For example, Thunder punch would be the punch type.  This would allow Pokémon to get several more types in addition (to match what type moves they could learn).  Not exactly too changing but would help if an ability decides to power up punches, which I believe is an actual ability that I am too lazy to find at the moment.
